WHO AM I?
I'm Dr. Erik Pearson, FACS and I am a board certified pediatric surgeon living in Las Vegas. I make surgical education videos on all topics in general surgery as well as talks on lifestyle design as a surgeon, book reviews, and studying effectively. If the winner does not respond within 2 weeks of notification a new winner will be chosen and that winner will have 2 weeks to respond. This will repeat until a winner responds and the book is sent.

Looking forward to this series! Could you review your favorite surgical atlas for junior residents ? Also could you discuss Sabistons vs Cameron’s what their strengths are and what situations they are ideal for(senior vs junior, etc) thanks!

You mentioned once that Sabiston was your favourite textbook. If possible could you review Sabiston and Schwartz together,comparing their similarities,differences, their respective strengths in particular topics and what kind of users they each may be suited for. Thank you for your videos

Yes! I’ll do that! Sabiston is definitely the go to textbook for surgery…Top Knife is a little different, an experiential and “how to” book and I love it. I’ll review Sabiston and Schwartz coming up!
