This show has been appointment TV for me and my husband (who’s white) since it first aired! Funky didn’t “make” the show, but the three of them together did! He’ll surely be missed! There is nothing else like this for us on TV. I loved how authentic this Trio was. If they got irritated at each other, then we saw it. When they cheered each other on, we saw that too. They kept us laughing. Their were relatable, which made the show such a cozy watch. They were real and I loved it. I'm so disappointed by this decision.

I just left a lengthy comment on the “Resolution” short, so I will just say, I’m so shocked and dismayed that Fox Soul made the decision to be selfish and not keep this show together. Each of these hosts brought something different, which has resulted in a winning combination that can’t be duplicated. Funky’s commentary was inspiring, insightful, intelligent, comical, and very entertaining. However, I respect his decision, he knows his worth and stood his ground. While other host combinations may work out, this is Fox Soul’s loss because these 3 are the “gold standard,” and I believe that they will come together again someday, somewhere bigger and better.

I woke up in this new year to the worst news! I’m sick and feel like going to lay back down. Fox Soul, y’all did us fans dirty. So many of us have vocalized what this show had meant to us since the world was turned upside down during the pandemic. And to do us like this now??? Y’all could’ve found some extra money for the hosts. This is so disappointing and downright lazy. When one of the hosts was absent, it was hard to stomach the show. I agree. When one of them is gone, it’s not the same. Even some of the guest hosts were pretty good, but I could not wait for the 3 of them to be back together again. Like funky said, he only signed a 6 month contract. The others signed a one year contract. I hope they find another home together in 6 months when the contracts are complete. Claudia please work your majic and find something for you 3 to be back together again 😢
