I would recommend before you even start adding prompts to use the /prefer suffix command before you start playing around, there seems to be a few issues with new accounts where the bot keeps saying it didn't respond and this seems to fix it, along with ctrl+r on the discord room to reset and refresh, especially if you have logged in from another account recently. These two have fixed any issues I have had using the bot.

As this video is quite recent it might be worth mentioning that if you use version 4 of MidJourney the quality code [ --q ] value is between 0,25 and 2. The --q 5 works only with version 3

Yeah Ive noticed that I get fail messages stating v4 numbers are diffrent, stylize is now 1-1000 for example. but essentialy the codes are the same just need ajusting to v4 :) Great Tutorial Clean to the point lots of info Keep it up :)

I dont think its bullet proof, butnif you generate one inage of your chara ter the way you like it, try using it as an image in your prompts (pop the image url in at the start of the prompt) - that may help!

AT 13:12 on your video, you show an arrow that I can't find anywhere. At no time can I get all my images to even load. When I hit the 'home' page all I see are other people's photos. I can't even get the left side panel to show that you have on the backing up of photos section. Was there another step to get here? It's going to undercut "economy" artists in the same way AI writing tools are cutting the knees out from low-budget SEO copywriters. I'd imagine as these technologies rapidly advance, the quality of AI output will climb the value ladder until only the most skilled writers and illustrators will still have the capability of earning a living with their creations. Until then, there's a transitionary period where those of us writers and visual artists can capitalize on our editing skills to take AI creations (I won't call them "art") and edit to a quality that's indistinguishable from original artwork. We're all living in an epochal shift, a complete industrialization into the Knowledge Age. Massive disruption for all of us, and only the adaptable will "survive".

ok i figured it out. you add whatever complex string you want at the end including multiple parameters or even prompt text that you reuse at the end of every prompt and it works. keep in mind using /prefer suffix overrides any /settings that normally get added. it won't add those anymore only the /prefer suffix ones so you'll really need to include everything you want to auto populate into the /prefer suffix value

The best thing would be to describe "workspace left side" and experimenting with that. Its hard to take full control but work on describing it very explicitly.

Hello, I don't know if you've already made a video about that topic but there are a few questions I have about specific uses. I write scenarios to be drawn as comic books. I create characters and I can have pretty good results. But I can't use specific characters and have them in different situations. Every time, the character ends up looking different from one picture to another. Any solution? What about having the same character on a story board page?

I havent been able to get consistent characters either 100% of the time. I have uploaded a face image with v4 and got similar results though, maybe experiment with that?

I dont know if MJ can do it, But Wonder AI app has a feature of AI Avatar, where you upload images of one face and it will use that in the prompts, so you get the same charater look in all the images. but I wonder if by Adjusting the codes stylize and chaos etc with a seed of your character if that helps keep the original? by reducing the MJ freedom on the image

Both in a way, shirt give midjourney freedom and you get good results. Long offers tighter limitations to get more control over the final image.

Great tutorial mate! If you use your own images which are high res for printing in MJ then upscale, then if necessary with software outside the platform how does the quality translate? I think mj shrinks the image, i could be wrong. But the final result wont be fullsize. To get higher res sd may be better

Man, good question. I do try and reroll a few times. But you can try words like upper body, portait, head and shoulders etc
