The first act of these I fell in love with was Marc Metral and his ventriloquist dog. That was crazy! The second of these was Marc Spelman. His magic was crazy impossible! But, I loved his other act with Shin Lim as well. That was crazier to me. Lastly, I actually thought Craig Ball had a strong resemblance to Christopher Walken.

@benjaminharman19877 күн бұрын
Really? I found his voice and his song rather shticky. A rough equivalent would be how a wannabe country singer lays on the extra twang to write and perform a song about how their mama, dawg, and girl all died at once just to pluck at people's heart strings because they think that if they can lay it on thick enough to make you cry, then that'll be the ticket. The thing is, your empathy doesn't actually make them good-- well good at being emotionally manipulative, sort of. To be really good at that, they'd have to be less transparent, though.

I don't see a lot of comments on here for the guy dancing with the mannequins. That was pretty awesome. At first, it looked like two mannequins, but I thought it was really actually just a guy costumed as the male mannequin holding up and dancing with a female mannequin, like a puppet. Then I thought it was actually a man and a woman dressed as mannequins and who were contortionists. Then at the end when the female just disappeared into thin air, I thought she was on his back curled up into a ball, like he was wearing her like a backpack. Then I realized that couldn't be right because he wasn't leaning forward and he'd have to be to offset the weight of a woman on his back and so I thought she was a mannequin again. Then he turned sideways and it turned out BOTH the male and female were actually mannequins or puppets, like it appeared at the start when I thought I was so smart. Then I couldn't understand the routine at all, so I had to back it up. After rewatching it, I realized that his legs were the male dancer's legs and his arms were the female dancer's legs and he performed the whole thing doubled over and blind, which is amazing. But then I couldn't understand how he was able to control the movements of the top halves of their bodies since he had no limbs left to control them. It's not every often that an act so keeps you guessing through the whole thing. It was obvious even Simon Cowell couldn't figure it out, not until after it was all over. So that act deserves more props than it's been getting here. It was "Most UNEXPECTED."

He botched the Morgan Freeman impersonation at the start, which is why he was getting so much side-eye from the judges. But as he nailed the next one, then the next one, then the next one, all that side-eye faded away as they got into it. I dunno-- maybe he botched the first one on purpose for that effect, for drama and hook, a genius move if he did, but I kind of doubt it.
