I will do my best always to promote big maps for top tier battles in every occasion and chance, even if I was the last man in this community doing it, hoping one day Gaijin will rethink about the miserable situation of top tier battles in reality and do something about it. In my standards, and at the very least, any map type with grid square area less than 450m should be excluded from 9.0-12.7 battle rating (The APFSDS\Laser Rangefinder environment), and any aerial map in Ground RB with grid square area less than 6500m should be excluded from 10.7-12.7 (High End SPAA and Fox 3 environment).

@@Raptor_i81 I think the lack of long range maps has 2 sides to blame on. The 1st one is Gaijin and their poor reward per kill (SL and RP) The 2nd is the playerbase and their utter lack of patience (they want to get into the fight 0.000169 seconds after spawning in and have TikTok brainrot)

Maps like these are better for everything, the modern MBTs with great engines, optics, laser rangefinders will shine in such environments, maps like this are great for tanks armor because at long ranges tank armor is more useful where incoming APFSDS lose velocity and pen value, maps like this and big Tunisia are better for light tanks that can't brawl like T-80BVM but can snipe and flank, maps like this are better for SPAA because it will have more space to maneuver and can leave the spawn to be more unpredictable by CAS pilots.

For HE-TF you can remove the TF part by lasing the range, then selecting another shell without a fuse setting then going back to HE. This keeps the lased range and removes the set fuse allowing you to shoot further or direct hitting someone to OP them.

Well smaller maps are fine too but I think the most part should be big maps :) I think people who only have one tank in lineup that fits in that lineup should not be able to start the battle. Making new account, buying high tier premium without any experience is just ruining matches.

In my experience, going againts USA in top tier, I would imagine them only bringing one or two tanks, and the rest is just CAS. I can still hear the sounds of Mavs and Hellfires in my ears

@Hunter_i86 DM53 and DM33 have no different in this br, you have to shoot the weak spots, or you will get nothing but instant death... meanwhile, it doesn't have the D-tech package and doesn't have the same acceleration irl, also Russian tanks have better mobility in term of turning in the spot, and the leo also loses all its speed while you're turn into street or trying to flank a tank with broken engine...

DM53 with the highest pen matters because more pen means less ricochet which means more spots to penetrate on the Russian armor specially at long ranges, it will have less chance to be stopped by fuel tanks for example. I always feel I kill better at long range engagements when using Leopard compared to Abrams tank, the reason is 652mm of pen for sure, the Leopard also have an excellent protection in the turret and UFP, if we have real tank battle environments you would see it shine more but I don't blame you neither totally disagree with you, the scenarios in majority of maps feel like tanks battle with melee weapons where Russian tanks shine of course because gun depression and reverse speed don't matter there, and all that matter is mobility and frontal armor, specially after the new vision of Gaijin to make the already small maps smaller and remove the flanks.

For urban environment T-80BVM (Mobility & Frontal Armor) For long range engagements Leopard 2A7 (652mm of pen) My favorite is M1A2 SEP Abrams tank

As much as i'd like to own a leopard 2, maps for the laser rangefinder era are way too small and gaijin is too lazy to do anything other than expand on existing ww2 maps, which absolutely sucks because they have the resources to do it.

Was bored so i started playing again. Noticed some maps are even smaler then before. 😂 wtf. Played a bit in 10.3 Abrams, it was ok. Also shot a jet. Would like to finish the grind to f15c and f4f ice. Sadly it isnt possible to spade such a jet in the assault mode. Well well

One of the best tanks in top tier ( for me the best ) but germany still laks for an cas jet , idk why the f18 would even be denied for germany, " ugh america should get it first because they build it " in other nations aare vihels from another nation and they got it first before the original nation , when it's this way why did germany not got the 2a7hu ( leopard 2a7+) they build it same with the kf41 , even if america gets it not they have one of the best /biggest air tt in the game and would still complain if they get not another jet for them , for me ther is nothing that can beat an american main to cry for more shit they all ready have .
