Top of the Grampians | #10 | Our Motorcycle Adventure Around Australia

In this video we wake up to a cold morning in Halls Gap, the coldest we've experienced yet. After brekky by the fire in the cosy camp lounge we take Arnie and Franco (our motorbikes) for a ride through the Grampians National Park to the top of Mount William, the highest peak in the Grampians Mountain Range. The ride and hike to the top were well worth the effort for the stunning views.

Yeah the views are something else with the drop offs and just flat country into the distance, it was a bit freaky sitting on the edge and looking out, Tina was fine but I got a bit of vertigo 😨 lol. Cheers!

Wow that sounds almost exactly like what we went through leading up to this trip. Tina got her Ls late last year and her Ps a week before we left for the trip in April. We got the bikes late last year as well, set them up and practiced for a few months while she was on her Ls (instagram.com/p/CLBhxqCgOvW ). After we reach Cape York we're planning on doing a clockwise lap of Oz, where are you leaving from and what direction are you going? We're excited for you guys you're gonna love it! :)

We are leaving from Victoria, heading to S.A and clockwise all the way around, we are thinking we may do a small trip to tassie late this year as the weather would be great and it would be a good shake down/test before we hit the road full time, hope to maybe cross paths along the way, your going to love the cape it’s a beautiful part of our country

Sounds great, we're looking forward to the cape but still nervous about the ride and the tough road/track conditions, it'll be a big relief once we make it there. Good luck with all the trip preparations and hopefully will see you on the road next year :)

Have you got recipe for your porridge, haven't had it since I was a kid.

Nothing fancy, just oats with milk and artificial sweetener (or sugar) for the porridge, cooked in the microwave or camp stove until it's the thickness you like. Then mixed with some banana, sunflower seeds and a bit of cinnamon. Can't beat it on a cold morning 😋
