Thank you for putting together this video and talking about each item. I currently own a few Snow Peak items (Micro Capsule, Micro Oval, Micro Pot, Tongs & Wabuki Chopsticks) and looking to enhance my car camping experience. I travel in my Jeep for 3 to 6 months and looking to bring the "home experience" with me on these road trips. I'm looking at the IGT with the Flat Burner & Grill Burner. However, I'm trying to figure out if I want the sitting or standing position. I also working at rearranging my Jeep so I can carry these items. I'm looking at this cookset and a backpacking style cookset from Camping Moon for those days that I prefer a minimal kitchen. Could you make a video talking in more detail about the IGT covering your likes, dislikes and what would you do differently? Thanks

This is a great video. Have you looked at replacing more of the plates and other items with titanium equivalents?
@SirCampalotOutdoors Жыл бұрын
Yes, I actually have been slowly replacing some of the items with titanium. However, the only issue is that titanium plates and bowls usually don't come in bigger sizes. I got the Snow Peak Stainless Steel plate and bowl set recently and I'm loving it so far!

My gf also bought the same Stanley for heating water. We found out that the Snow Peak camp stove is too big and her Moka Pot can’t fit too. This happened while we were out camping and good thing that we had a fire going out. I found a solution online, it’s a sheet of Titanium that you can place above the stove so you can place small items on it. It was a lifesaver as I was thinking of getting the compact Snow Peak stove just for making coffee.
@SirCampalotOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Do you have the link to the product to fit a smaller pot on the Snow Peak stove? I will get it just incase we need to use it. Thanks, and thanks for watching!

My comments keep getting deleted. I’m just going to share a short unlisted video for you. kzbin.info6gScI5icCm8?feature=share it’s bought from an e-commerce store here in South East Asia. Snow Peak stuff is hard to come by here so we use proxy sites to buy direct from Japan.

I just got a Snow Peak Grill Burner. Did you have to do anything to the cast iron griddle after you got yours, like seasoning it? Or is it ready to use out of the box?
@SirCampalotOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
You do not have to season it. It is ready to use out of the box. I would pour a little bit of oil and wipe it with a paper towel on first use to get rid of dust. Have fun with it!

I also prefer a combination of a Single Action table with an Entry IGT rather than a "normal" IGT even though I have a 4-unit frame and a long table set! It provides almost the same experience except for the height and is handier to install and uninstall and lightweight.

How are you finding the ease of control for the Baja burner? I've read various commenters across different sites have mixed opinions on how easy it is to adjust the flame. I asked you in a previous video as well, but have you experimented using non Snow Peak isobutane on the burner? Again, some commenters say that they had a negative experience when using non Snow Peak fuel. Does your Korean bbq plate fit on top of it for an even cooking experience? Thanks again for doing these great videos!
@SirCampalotOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
The ease of use for the Baja burner would be a 4/5 star for me. Sometimes the flame adjustment knob gets displaced or starter button won't light the Baja burner. It takes a minute or two to troubleshoot. As for using non Snow Peak fuel, it's hard to really say. I started out using Snow Peak fuel and then switched to non-Snow Peak fuel. I haven't noticed a difference. Cooking inside without environmental factors such as wind does not affect the performance based on fuel brand. I have used the Baja burner outdoor in windy conditions and it is not good. It needs a wind screen. The Korean BBQ pan will not fit on the Baja burner properly. You can definitely fit it on there and cook with the Baja burner but it needs room for fat and liquid to drip from the pan. In addition, the Baja burner has 5 prong while the traditional butane burner has 4 prong. I use the pan with the Home and Camp burner. It works well. Thanks for watching and commenting!
