How are you able to do this on xbox? PC players have hotkeys of a keyboard. Xbox controllers have a limited number of buttons.

@@luminatrixfanfictionthe power of radial menus. Have a single button like LB open a radial menu with like 12 options laid out in a circle. Now you have 12 different inputs available from LB + a thumbstick flick in that direction. This easily gives you 12 options per controller button. You can even go further by layering radial menus or putting button presses on radial menus (thumbstick flick + X) for stuff like upgrading units. That's why controller players have access to the full suite of PC actions. Build menus, select all X building, control groups, formations, and so on.

He's zooming in and out because his cursor moving covers more ground quicker zoomed out than zoomed in. It's difficult to click exactly where you want zoomed out that's why he's constantly zooming in and out. I do that too I just never noticed until ye pointed it out 😂

Hera you have said before that the rule of thumb about feudal blacksmith upgrades is to get attack first for ranged and defense first for melee, but should we be getting defense first if we are making skirmishers against an archer rush? You mentioned something about one of the opponents doing this in the second game

with skirms against archers the defense upgrade is more useful as it reduces the damage by half if the opponent has fletching. 5 attack for the archer with fletching against 4 pa for the skirm with defense. However a very skilled opponent could kite indefinitely against no fletching as it gives an extra range. Against no fletching however (if that ever happens) armor is useless as archers deal 1 damage anyway. Fletching is also better on archers in almost every situation so if you have those in your army alongside skirms taking it first is not a bad call. I hope I managed to help you

The Attack is still better beacuse of the range. in the game Hera's opponent was coreans, they get archer armor for free.

It really just depends on if you are full walled or not, if you are full walled then you want fletching so the archers can’t abuse the range, if you aren’t fighting behind walls you want the armor and to just micro towards them

The only case in which you prefer defense rather than attack on skirmishes is when you are outnumbered and you are forced to fight. In any other case, defense is useless against the +1 attack, because the range is insufficient and your skirms will die anyway.
