Orbit to Atmo is end of movement. Atmo to Orbit is the start (costing 4" of Thrust). What I've also noticed is that you can now Max Thrust then drop into Atmo on Round 1 because the requirement 'must be able to Turn' has been removed from Descend/Ascend.

I just started looking to Dopfleet with 2.0 and got my starter set. While i have a bit of UCM the faction i was most interested in is PHR. Was interesting to hear the thoughts on the force as i have no clue what ships are good or not to build. One question i had was are torpedoes really worth it.

The gradient on the text doesn't work. The words disappear as they become dark purple on black.

I'm surprised no one chose the Pompeius, at 140pts it's by far our cheapest Battlecruiser but with extremely reliable damage output.

I like it but like the Castor it annoys me that it's Quad Battery has 2 attacks rather than a logical 4 (used to be 4 with Fusillade-4 for the Battlecruiser!). I can see they made the 2 attacks do 3 damage with Crit-1 but still.

Unfortunately you can't Escort Medium sized ships. No protecting your Bellerophon.

Pegasus is still weak compared to the Taipei - the latter being cheaper and can still come in Groups of 6. Remember that you don't split damage over ships now (unless Focussed) so usually only 1 ship will be getting to Regen. Romulus main gun is now nerfed into Oblivion: needs to go back to 5 Attacks

It's much, MUCH easier to kill ground unit with bombardment in 2.0. Every single point of damage you do to the dropsite kills one battalion on each side *with no save.* (The dropsite takes its save against the hits.)
