JEI doesn't help for 1.16 version, as the Pokeballs are all the same item with different nbt tags, and it's JEI support wasn't updated...

For me a mod I usually play with Pixelmon is Nomadic Tents, the tents are perfect for players to make Pokemon style secret bases without needing to worry about forgetting where they made their base, because it's in their inventory.

Another essential mod for me would be JEI, essential for when mods adds tons of new crafting recipes that you can't possibly remember.

I love the moo villages mod, it adds alot of marts and pc to the game and I think it works really good with pixelmon

Next update (whenever it releases) does have pokestops being added to all the waypoints that don't currently have them

I really like the pixelmon lucky block idea but i fell it could be better and reffined so its usablle and not overpowered

Pane In The Glass mod is nice for building a main base, and Refined Storage is a better version of Applied Energistics 2, and even to a degree if you configure it right New Tardis Mod (Only if you want a moveable base with enough energy for the Refined Storage, but you will need to have it to where you can essentially start with a map to locate a Tardis First with the remote to summon your tamed Tardis to you).

I am unsure of the exact update that added the "oh the biomes you'll go" but the latest update 9.1.3 has it. Which I'm fairly certain was tweaked to optimise for pixelmon in some minor ways.

Not really interested in putting any other mods into pixelmon, but to answer your question at the end of the video: I most recently caught a Zeraora whilst trying to farm focuses sashes. It literally happened the day I started doing that so I'm super lucky to have Zeraora in my dex lmao

yes you can always add more mods to any modpack you download just go into your mods folder under .minecraft and add in whatever you want

if you're only using that mod and pixelmon it should work if you have other mods installed it might mess with it idk

I would also recomend tue iron chest mod for chulker boxes. Because you can use the items in it in battle. Thats pretty nice. Edit: also i cant live without mousetweak mod. 😅

Im one of the few people having no problems with optifin😌 Any texture pack recogmendations?

A texture pack/resource pack I highly recommend to play Pixelmon with is Annahstas Beastrinia, it's a 32x resource pack that heavily inspired by Pokemon. The only downside I can think of is that it removes the biome gradient from grass and foliage blocks, meaning you have to rely on F3 or a minimap to find what biome you're in.

Luckly Optifine works with my pixelmon bc my pc can't run minecraft without it. I've tried everything optifine is the only answer

you don't have to have either lol for this mod if it's causing issues otherwise go for it
