We SURPRISED our great friend Bert! The ground surprised us with an incredible variety of amazing coins and relics. It was an absolute FUN filled day with many Laughs and memories made. We detected HUGE Colonial farm in the heart of Civil War County. Finally Bobby was able to join us and he started his day with a Top Pocket Bobby Dazzler! So many excellent finds and many caught on live dig. It doesn’t get better than saving history from multiple centuries with amazing people I can call my friends. I Treasure the memories the most.

Great video and finds... thanks for sharing. On those chimneys in the field... I was told run the detector along all of the chimney and check for loose stones or bricks because valuables were sometimes hid behind them. Just sayin

Sorry I'm late to the party. This was absolutely a blast guys! What an interesting and wonderful friend you have in Bert. George Washington is in our family tree too, but only because we share a common ancestor, through Mary Ball, George's mother. Col William Ball, II, was Mary Balls grandpa, and my hubby's 9th grt. grandpa. Making George my hubby's 2nd cousin 8 times removed. So I guess that makes Bert his cousin too. Putting all that aside, this was a delightful dig and I am so happy that Bert shared these permissions. The twin shirt surprise was the omen for a good day! Bert & Bobby the fleece & flannel shirt twins! ...ha ha ha... Here I thought only I and my twin sister did that! Gotta love it!

Kurt, Burt is an awesome subscriber and now digging buddy. Super that he is related to GW! There are some really nice people on the web. We are doing the quarantine right now. We stay well away from everybody. There are some cases near us and so my husband is being very protective. I am one of the immune suppressed folks due to cancer. So no digging for awhile, he's afraid I might hurt myself and then get exposed at a hospital.
