Me too. This year was soooooo cool. 1962 , 1963 . Walking the halls , not in grade school ANYMORE ; I felt that I was growing up , surrounded with this MUSIC through and through. I remember I asked myself after that coolest of years,1962 and 1963 , " where does music go from here. ? " Youu could not get any BETTER than THESE years : JAMES BROWN and THE FAMOUS FLAMES-1962 LIVE AT THE APOLLO,and LIVE AT THE ROYAL PURE DYNAMITE ,The RONNETTES, THE CRYSTALS , Mary Wells , ELVIS ; THE SHIRELLES ; MEMPHIS- Lonnie Mack & JOHNNY RIVERS, Instrumentals, early MOTOWN , some DOO WOP and MORE !!!!!!!! Well , The Beatles hit USA in early 1964.
