@nohasorobereАй бұрын
Hello Aisha, a lot of people out there will be rejoicing over suspended prison officials.In developed countries such as the US where I reside, the names of these suspended officials and photographs/videos would be displayed. Not until their identities are made public is sheer deception. Moreover, the accused was also slammed with money laundering charges.
@thomism1016Ай бұрын
Aisha💐, on this occasion I completely disagree with you☹️ That Nigerians abuse the Naira is no reason the gentleman should not be punished for his crime. If more so-called ‘high-profile’ persons were punished and made examples of, Nigeria would be a better place 🤷🏽♂️

Exactly. I don't know why she is trying to be soft with the criminal behaviour of bobrisky
@hillsongcovers2173Ай бұрын
@@Speedyvampir2 I think she's leaning on the fact that what Bobrisky was prosecuted and jailed for is what everybody else does in all parties in Nigeria, old and young and rich and poor alike. So why clamping down on Bobrisky alone when the so-called EFCC guys see other culprits and look away???
@lysshenryАй бұрын
Why is no one talking about the money bobrisky said he paid to get early pardon?????
@Nicelooking101-1Ай бұрын
Bobrisky should be re-arrested, prosecute for bribery, influence padding and money laundering. Then all those that involved in collecting the bribe money should be prosecuted and jailed.

In 1998 or thereabouts, I came back from work feeling the pangs of hunger and an imminent bout of malaria and decided to go buy some antimalarial drugs for myself (self-medication, right?). On my way to the pharmacy that evening (around Yaba), at about 7:30-8pm, I was accosted by the police and, immediately, got arrested and thrown into their pick-up van where I met other innocent people, mostly young men like me, who had also been unjustly arrested. We were all driven to their station at Panti, and after lining us up inside, the police began to extort money from us as they interrogated us to our utmost embarrassment and bewilderment, one after the other, asking us what we were doing on the streets of Lagos by that time of the night (Mmmh...8pm???!!!). I didn't get it; I was totally confused. When it got to my turn, I explained my situation and, as sick and hungry as I obviously, genuinely was and sounded to them, they collected all the damn money I had on me and released me amongst some others. I think I trekked home that night, licking my wounds like a wounded dog, with my tail between my legs. I eventually got home late that night (all shops closed, everywhere almost desolate) and went straight to bed on empty stomach, my head aching terribly bad as the malaria festered. I didn't know what this act of wickedness was all about. But looking back now, I can tell they finally executed their plan by taking in their hands the fates of those from whom they couldn't extort any money. These innocent young men, I strongly believe, were swapped with criminals whose family and friends had dropped whopping amounts of money to free them from the clutches of the law.

@hillsongcovers. I am so sorry to read what happened to you. The main problem of that your Nigeria is LACK of love. You don’t love yourselves in that your liegeria. Every law and policies your government makes is to punish it citizens. The citizens also are like their leaders. Is it not better every one starts to ask for the break up of that CONTRAPTION? What’s the population of TOGO? Every region will be able to deal with their thieves and criminals politicians, there will be healthy competition among the regions which will enhance progress and no region will other regions of their failures. Many many benefits. Think about it. That’s what everyone citizens ought to be advocating for now.

@@flora8391 You're absolutely right!!!💯 👌 A lot of Nigerian people have been have that conversation privately, as a matter of opinion. But the political elite, for unfounded selfish reasons, do not want that to happen...and we wonder why!

My own question is why suspension? Why not discharge them of there duties and also sentence them to prison?
@madamdmadam7542Ай бұрын
There has to be a due process because it's only fair to confirm all allegations before discharging and charging individuals.

Madam Aisha don’t be carried away with the suspension. Remember Tunji Ojo’s name was mentioned as part of cabinet reshuffle. So he had to suspend people to get people sympathy from Nigerians to show that he is working.
