I do have a beagle ( lemon and white). She's very intelligent, fun, loving. Both the colours are equally beautiful. I can give some advices and tips to new owners. 1) Buy quality puppies(possibly registered), because you can clearly notice the difference in looks, health, and character while they go through each phases of their life. 2) It's very difficult to get attention from a beagle if he's on his search and hunt mode. So start training them from early stage to do basic things. Most importantly call back. 3) Make sure u have a proper fenced area because beagles are escape artist. They will figure out ways to get out and explore outside areas. 4) Beagles will produce many weird sounds other than howling. If u keep a track of it u can understand the meaning of each sound they make. 5) There biggest enemies are cats, rats mainly small games. They will go nuts if they see them. In my experience beagles can be used as a guard dog just to give you barks when an outsider gets in to your area. 6) I had never seen my beagle getting agressive. They are friendly with all family members and they prefer to play more along with kids because of their high drive and energy reserve.

@@amithkrishnan3254 they stink. my beagle stinks that is their body odor. in olden times beagles used to hunt in packs each beagle has different kind of smell to recognize each other eventhough you give your dog a bath it will start stinking after 2'-3 days.
