My whole frustration is why Announce a game almost 4 years before showing any game play. I would’ve preferred not even knowing there working on new IP. Like damn guys that was super early to announce

Starfield is nothing new if you've been following Bethesda. The first rumors popped up about it right after Morrowind was released back in 2002. It's just been sitting on the back burner for a while, but the lore has been in the works for almost 2 decades. They were just waiting for technology to get to advance enough for them to really start developing it, much like George Lucas waited 16 years for computer tech to advance enough to do the prequel trilogy. So in the grand scheme of things, this is basically announcing it to the world right before it's released. CD Projekt Red announced Cyberpunk 8 years before it released.

I think one of the main reasons is because of 76. They needed to let us know they were still doing single player games, so they had to announce it during the 76 reveal to minimize backlash since it wasn't the normal game they make. Then they had to mention es6 was after that, because so many people needed that confirmation it was a close future project.

Until we get the technology to answer NPC's with our own voices, voiced protagonists belong with predetermined characters, not with ones created by the player. And again, this is my opinion. If you think that it's okay for player created characters to have a voice actor, okay then, we disagree. But if Fallout 4 already tried it, why would you call them lazy if they know most players did not enjoy it?
