Still think the 3 wheat mono was the right play at the time. With 7 sheep, 5 ore, and a wood in hand, it really tied the room together. Gave you 2 devs and a city instead of having to choose between 1 city or 2 devs. And it freed you up to play your 2 knights (and the YOP you ended up buying) on future turns when the robber isn't on the 8-wood. Well played game from kind've a tough spot after initial placements.

Yeah, that lag was murder yesterday. I had 3:1 trades that didn't look like they went through, then showed up twice. Robbers that wouldn't place, pop button not working,... It was almost like playing Catan Universe.

Fun one. I think you should of held the yop and citied at 18:53. I don't think you could of been plowed by black and you probably close the game next turn?

Why not settle, and hold the yop for a city? any 6 wins. Turns out that would have lost because he only gains 3 cards in the next cycle, but seems like a higher probability play. Don't want to do the math to figure it out though.

Yeah that works too. He'd have 1 sheep left with the city 😂 could be slightly more optimal.
