I read the Curse of Chalion in 2024, and Paladin of Souls and The Hallowed Hunt in 2024 and really liked them. Hoping to read the Penric novellas from that world in 2025. I hope you have lots of great reads in 2025!

I've read 3 kingfisher books now, nettle and bone was definitely the best, sorceress comes to call the worst, and while I enjoyed them yeah, they aren't 5 stars for me... I just started murderbot! Anything above 4 is so hard for me to rate esp on the stupid good reads app

I rated 10 books 5 stars on goodreads, but only 2 of them were true 5 stars. The rest were 4.5-4.75 stars.

I’ve only started on the last year or 2 to rate most books 4 star, 5 if I love them 3 if they were disappointing. A book has to be offensively bad for me to rate it lower than a 3, it feels to mean, but that’s just me. I used to give pretty much everything a 5 star 😂. Despite this I love when people are stingy with their ratings and a book really has to urn it, I just can’t rate a book as low as every book tuber seems to be able to.
