A fun fact. The rover's operating system, is Linux, written originally for a heart pacemaker. They tried Microsoft on the ISS space station but it crashed after about 1.5 hours, so it runs on Linux also.

incase you dont know but space has so many charged particles that it damages computers by flipping on random diods in the board. a 0 could turn into a 6 for zero reason just cause a small charged electron floated past the diod. i doubt windows is stable enough to deal with that when its the lats 18 years just combined to make windows 10 and 11 they haven't started from scratch ever its just reskins and more programs

I think this is a short version of a longer story I remember Agro reading, where we searched and searched and just kept finding abandoned planets, gaining more and more technology along the way from the ruins. Eventually we caught up to the fleeing Xenos and there were such hurt feelings I think ended up fighting them. It was like the old adage about self fulfilling prophecy. The Xenos thought we were monsters and we became those monsters.

@@AgroSquerril why not ?a lot 9f your stories are 8f the type 9f humans have forwards intelligence? So me as a subscriber, have been warned of serial series 5hreats? So its like I have mentioned in yor magical stories, the users of magic are going to have to go through a societal change 9n contract with humans, pull a rabbit from a hat? Never had to do that, so a whole new branch of magic, and then the bastards(we humans)change the laws of magic again with pull a hat from a rabbit??? Soo in any future humans that are aware story you personally have an honourable mention??

I dont know it it is two different authors independently creating similar stories, or a single author who wrote one story, then an expanded version of it. But there is another story like the second one that is longer and more complicated, Humanity chased across the galaxy, a step short of finding Xenos every single time, but coming closer and closer to meeting them before they evacuated. Each planet they found like this, they found more and more tech to make Humanity grow in knowledge and power.
