Thanks for the video.. So for a bodice that has difference between bust point and waist line as 4 or lesser than 4, how will I go about the dart intake?
@kolaola83674 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tutorial. I think if feel like shaping the down side region ,I don't need to add d removed dart back to d down region. Rather I will subtract the dart from d back also

Thanks very helpful WHAT IS THE STANDARD MEASUREMENTS FOR Shoulder to B.P Shoulder to W.P Shoulder to W.L
@thetailorshaven4 жыл бұрын
Usually, there are no standards for these vertical measurements because our body shape/structure can't be the same. It is best to measure the client.

Thanks. Bust 50inches do I still use 8inch for shoulder
@thetailorshaven3 жыл бұрын
You will have to take the shoulder measurement of the person you're making the dress for. The 8" is a standard shoulder slope for basic bodice.

Is the dart width .75 inch on either side.

Tnx.please what if u r sewing a gown.can u use both dart. And will u add to the down part of the gown d down part the inched u remove from the side Hope it wont affect d length
@thetailorshaven4 жыл бұрын
Yes you can use both darts when making gown. You will also have to replace the amount of dart you took from the side at the down/hem part of the gown.
