The airplane part is a tie rod they are on cars also. It's what angles your tires as you turn and holds half the rim on. If you ever hear a piping noise while turning its the tie rod about to come off. And if it does the front half tire comes free and will be at a 90 degree angle. I've done it going down highway it's umm exciting lol. In case anyone care figure I'd share a bit of info

Tie rods have a threaded section to bolt to a wheel spindle. The items in the video are heim joints, used in a variety of applications however, often seen in suspension setups.

We can find bits and parts in anything people toss away. Old guitar strings for conduit and spent cartridges from air pistols and the clear plastic packaging for displaying the item. I am looking at creating molds to replicate parts I know I have one of but would love to use again. Let's go crazy with it.... or have we already? Jury's out depending on who you ask.

Nice haul! I've got an old CD player which I dismantled to get a similar haul to your VCR, but I haven't used it yet. The thing that struck me was that the shell could be used as a base to make some kind of industrial set for wargaming by adding platforms and walkways on top of all the moulded-in pillars. Another source of nice little detail bits that I've found is a beading craft shop. Firstly you've got the actual beads, which can provide tiny cylinders, balls, crystals etc, then you've got the charms section, which will have things like tiny skull faces, angel wings and the like which are good for gothic-style stuff. Lastly, they've got fine wire, chain, fastenings and the like, as well as tools designed for deicate stuff.

This is how i made a Warlord Titan. Those big 3 in 1 Office Printers have great bits too. My fav was the metal VHS arms and hinged actuators. The rusted Brass splined gear mystery item (sorry i don't know what it is.) Then the ball with multiple prongs (Sea Mine style)

I’ve totes upon totes of sheitt... wonderful wonderful sheitt. Believe it or noh... I liked the two casin’ halves of the white out applicator the most... they be the upper portion of the cockpit of a sci-fi, high-speed spacecraft. I know these things... and many other of the like.
