I’m pretty sure I subscribe to your channel already, but I’ll double check! I don’t mind if my decoupage gets wrinkles. The liquid patina is really good for that though. Sometimes I see wrinkles when it’s wet, but most go away when it’s dry.

With paint do you get a smoother finish on your stencil area? I have used chalk paste and it feels raised. Thanks
@VintageBeeDesign3 жыл бұрын
Chalk paint and DIY’s clay based paint are my favs. If it feels too raised, once dry, give it a quick, light sand. I would question if you are swirling or pouncing though. I don’t typically get a raised effect unless pouncing or using too much paint.

Great projects, I love them all. And finally some one that actually has what im looking for. I dont have a cricket or anything like that, so I am always looking for something to add things to my projects. I have spent so much money on stincles and stamps just everything, but I think what you showed is just what I need. If taken care of , how long do they last? I make the noodle boards and just stincle on them what ever the customer wants, but now no one seems to want anything. To scared I guess. Thank you so much for sharing ❤ God bless
@VintageBeeDesign3 жыл бұрын
I have almost every variety of of crafting supply out there, I think. lol. Stenciling is by far one of my favorite crafts, so I have the most of those, and you'll see me use a lot on my channel. Mesh stencils, if taken care of, will last for a dozen or so projects (washes/drying). After that, if they are still in good condition, just not sticky anymore, you can use a movable spray adhesive. The great thing about the mesh is that you can really do a project quickly, without any bleed. It is great for those who haven't mastered the swirl method of stenciling yet.
