I appreciate the counter space, I have never been in a situation where my wife and I absolutely require our own separate faucets and basins simultaneously, and in reality the ridiculous amount of stuff my wife has around the sink means that with just one sink I still have somewhere for my razor and toothbrush to sit amongst all her paraphernalia. And I do appreciate the "zero negative space" approach these guys have, every RV I've owned has at least one or two spots where I've said "they really could've given us an XYZ in this spot" I get sometimes the way it works out leaves a funky shaped triangular space that the architect couldn't figure out how to use, but I appreciate the effort that goes in to eliminating those spaces. After all, when you're looking at an RV of this size, its not a pick up and move weekly travel trailer, its probably someones summer home, or in our case, lake house, and even the biggest RV is probably small compared to an actual house, so storage becomes critical.

This was actually prototype #1 and it wasn't essentially run down the production line in the same way as a normal unit. More of it was hand-finished quickly just for a "proof of concept" I won't claim any RV perfect but several of the glitches on this one are likely avoided thru the traditional processes Alliance employs

@JoshtheRVNerd2 күн бұрын
The words are mostly used interchangeably but technically a "Destination Travel Trailer" like this is fully self contained whereas a "Park Model" doesn't follow RVIA standards. It may not have holding tanks and some of the appliances may be different (Like the oven)

1) Thank you Alliance. We appreciate the chance to look at your products. 2) Thank you content creators for bringing us all of these great units to view. Love this unit. However I do have a couple of questions….. 3) Exactly where is the spare tire located at? What tires are on this big thing? Goodyear or Cooper H rated, or a cheap import since it’s designed to park and stay? This is a huge and heavy unit. I would want the best tires on it. Never know if or when you’ll get a flat to or from your destination. 4) Love the idea of this being a destination and a deck built next to it. This would be a beautiful trailer on a lake or mountainside property. In that type of destination, full time maximum roof solar would be totally awesome for this camper. This is an expensive camper, if you own the truck to move it to your pristine property that isn’t cheap either. Let alone the deck to build next to it. And depending where your property is located at, how much money would it cost for the power company to run a line to your destination, if they even would? Big unit, big roof; please put solar panels on the entire roof if not even allow for extra ground mounted panels for even more power. This has the potential to be the ultimate boon-docking get away camper that puts you at one with nature. If one had the resources, all of the above mentioned would be awesome for snowbirds as well.

I’ve watched so many vidss of the Benchmark but you pointed out details no one else covered. I’ve even spent time in one (hoping to be in it FT by summer) and missed some of those details. Such a beautiful RV 😊. My 2 issues are I wish it had a basement and more hanging space. Wowza!!! I LOVE this destination unit. Gorgeous! Loving that stove/oven and the kitchen in general. Love all the storage in the primary bed and bath - and the rest of it is not too shabby either. Appreciate the matching, ventless flooring throughout. We have a big family so I'd like the couch to be a sleeper. If there's a way to have the tv facing seats recline and the other portion a sleeper that would be awesome. I believe my only request, crazy as it seems is I still like/ need my medicine cabinets lol. I know, crazy with all that storage but I really like and need them. Oh! Wanted to ask Josh: can the primary bed be used to recline against while watching tv/reading or is that strictly for travel mode? TIA!

@@JoshtheRVNerd Thanks Josh. I suspect that camper without insulated dual pane windows would be like staying in greenhouse in extremely hot summer climates. That said, I have a 2017 42' Jayco Designer parked on a permanent spot @ Harbor Marina about 30 mins from my home in Tulsa. It has dual pane insulated windows with three one year old mach 8 AC's, with dual shades, 3" walls & it's still challenging to cool it down with summer temps exceeding 110 degrees at times. Prob would be the same for other states like Arizona, Texas, Florida, etc. I wish these camper designers would consider these extremes when putting all those windows... That said, the unit is beautiful! Appreciate all your knowledge & videos. Stay humble, stay foolish, keep pushing! Take care.

It's great as a tiny home. I just do not understand having a massive window in your bathroom - if you are in there, the blinds will be drawn (unless you are camping in the wilds which I don't think this is designed for). So for something that costs quite a bit - that front windshield - I think it is mostly useless.
