Honestly, I like Ali Carter. In interviews and suchlike he comes across as a very ordinary bloke, easy to get on with. Not that others don't too, of course, I just think sometimes he gets a bad rap just because he's not as good at hiding his frustration, but I can think of far worse sins.

I disagree with some of the comments here. I think the commentary and analysis of some shots are a welcome change from the usual simple edits/compilations. I've had my fair share of " what a shot that was! " type of official commentary, if you know what I mean. Both kinds of videos have their relevancy and their public. I do appreciate the work put into this. Being unkind is never needed, especially when not taking into account that you may not be alone watching these.

Have to say I love the new commentary this channel decided to add. It adds some nice variety rather than just "this is shot number 10, this is shot number 10 being played" without anything to explain what's actually going on or why the shot was considered to be so good. Cool 😎

IMO commentary should be avoided at ALL COST during shots,! Even in videos featuring certain shots, if you want to have commentary in videos i would suggest leaving a few seconds before or after the shot,. Talking about what's about to happen or what has happend. Keeping it short and easy is even better for casual / new players! Short comments + right timing (and maybe) a short description in text at the same time for new players = high quality content for experienced players AND new players / casuals.

Not a huge fan of the overlay, like to hear the commentators. Maybe make separate videos that are “shot break down” videos and keep the voice out of the video. Maybe it was the type of voice or something, idk. Seems like in an analysis video the analysis shouldn’t be read off a script, it should just be the person’s off-the-cuff thoughts. The scripted analysis just sounds weird. It’s almost like it was a flight stewardess reading the script they read before flight takeoff, I think that’s what made it so awkward like why is a flight stewardess trying to explain snooker to me
