Thanks for the video! I have an Sig 229 legion optics ready and I really like the sound of the SCS 320...if I heard you correctly, I DO NOT need a mounting plate to attach to the pistol right? Also, will the screws on the pistol work or do I need another type of screw? Thanks!

Yep that’s correct you won’t need any plate. It will Mount directly on there and you will use the screws that come with the optic.

I saw on a Sig Sauer forum that the scs 320 fits without a plate but has a gap so the recoil will hit directly on the screws, have you checked that out? ​@@freedomgorilla1

just bought a pro cut slide from sig and it doesnt match the look of either slide you put in the picture... will it still work with the most recent version of the slide?

As long as you have the Romeo 1 pro cut on the slide eveything in this video will apply

Out of curiosity, why doesn’t the SCS-320 have the same issue as far as pressure on the screws from recoil?

Yep it’s a great question. It’s because the optic itself makes contact with the front and rear of the slide cut. The RMR footprint optics don’t, which is how the filler plate helps solve that issue

Green dot only. All of the SCS models come in green only, something to do with the battery life of it
