But Indians wash down the last item with Buttermilk, Lassi or Yoghurt dishes &. Eat mouth Freshers which help in digestion (this is what I advice my foreign friends).Cumin, Yoghurt, Tamarind is highly recommended after eating Indian dishes

I have a genetic mutation that makes me insensible to capseicine spiciness. When I was a child, and even as a youngster, I won hundreds of bets by drinking whole glasses of Tabasco sauce or eating a whole lot of Jalapeño peepers without drinking. I have tried such nightmarish things as the scorpion or ghost peepers, the Carolina dries or even pure capseicine, but for me, the spicy flavour is like sweet or sour for most of you, just I like it a lot. Nevertheless, I an not really sure about the potential damage to my body systems if I abuse too much over spici substances.

As an Indian, yeah a lot of stuff just taste sweet or sour but I think that’s more of genetics, I’m still susceptible to spice

We had a bottle of chilli sauce from a Cash & Carry Wholesaler. I had a card due to working for a company that got cleaning and drinks products from there. I went there with my husband, and we bought this bottle of chilli that was meant for a kebab takeaway van. I couldn't use it, it was too hot for me, but my husband like it. Anyway, it said, once open, keep refrigerated and use within a month. Well, we kept it in the fridge, but we kept it for MONTHS, namely over a year! Astonishingly, it did not get covered in mould and other such plant life. We think that the concentration of the sauce was such that it repelled the microscopic life that would have turned it bad. Amazing stuff and very cheap.
