Top & Tail SSR Grain Train: Warrnambool & Geelong Broad Gauge Rail Movements

Recently we've taken two short trips across to Victoria. In this video, some Broad Gauge Trains, including the Warrnambool Freight, SSR Grain Train and Vline Passenger Trains, feature across Warrnambool & Geelong.
Featured Trains:
00:15 - A couple of VLine Trains are seen stabled in the yard next to Warrnambool Railway Station due to a line shutdown.
00:30 - Warrnambool Freight 9203 from Melbourne is seen at the Warrnambool Railway Station Yard with G528 upfront on Tuesday, the 1st of October 2019.
02:10 - Warrnambool Freight 9203 is seen again approaching the Westvic Terminal after departing Warrnambool Railway Station with G528.
05:20 - A Double Set of V/Line VLocity heads south towards Geelong near Corio Railway Station at School Road on the 2nd of October 2019.
06:10 - The following day, another set of V/Line VLocity's is captured, however, this time heading North across St Georges Road.
06:40 - Not long after the V/Line service has passed, an SSR empty Grain Train heads north with S302 upfront and S317 at the rear. The train unloaded at Geelong and is now running to Kensington. To save time and make it easier for the crew, the train has run top & tail since Ballarat to remove the need to run to locomotives around the consist after unloading at Geelong and at North Melbourne to get to Kensington.

when i first saw a top and tail west of geelong, i asked poathtv why the top and tail. he said it was because a signal box had been removed from the system and the control systems hadn't been successfully moved across to the new control place. i don't think the trains aren't top and tailing anymore so everything is probably fixed now.

How did the G class run on broad gauge? they run through the hills on standard gauge....

G classes were originally Broadgauge cause they are a Victorian locomotive.
