The first glimpse of stadium expansion I recall was during an interview with PSU officials during halftime of a PSU-Miami game in 1977. The stadium was scheduled for expansion for 1978 but the interviewee was talking about expansion of over 100,000 at that time.

It was a real slap in the face to Penn State football for NBC to put it's signature white out game on Peacock and I hope that Pat Kraft and James Franklin let NBC know it.
