Went 14-1 last season with Origin lead/mamoswine closer/DT groudon safe swap last season in 3200+ range, the backline mons are crazy good corebreakers these days. For togekiss lead, throw a shadow ball before dipping to groudon

I had fun two rotations ago with Mamoswine, Zekrom, Lugia. Didn't work as well last time though and I'm not sure why. But the basic strategy is to get shields with Mamoswine and then you can just Aeroblast and Wild Charge everything. Might be better now with the crunch buff on Zekrom!

In classic this is not great against kyogres zacian and zamazenta but in open it’s only weak to virizion but no one uses that Also if you don’t get switch it’s kind of tough with this team

My best team so far for master league is swampert, dialga and yvetal, my though process behind the team is that dialga and yvetal are really good answers to giratina (both forms) in the lead, any other on the lead are playable and manageable, my sacrificial swap on this team is dialga, and even if the oponent answers me with melmetal you can win switch or up on shields if you're going straight to the draco meteor after the first superpower

i used Double Dragon Double Water last season to get from 2400 to 2800 elo. Palkia Lead / Dialga Safe Swap / Kyogre in the back. This team really works, Dragon tail on palkia works best.

I experimented with the Ho-oh lead/Lugia save swap core last season and to my surprise Tyranitar seemed to work best for me unless I was up against double steel

In the first half of last season I got into the 2900s with a SUPERPOWERful team: lando-T, melmetal, dialga. I basically spammed the fast superpowers and switched out to reset debuffs. Then closed with dialga. It's an ABB style team, as melmetal often lured out the Groudon and excradrill that dialga didn't want to see.

I think I’m going to try a Dialga, Lugia, and Mewtwo team in open master. With Yveltal being so common now I’m a little worried about that, but I think that teams beats the rest of the meta.

I use hydreigon in the lead with double mudbois in the back, swampert as my safe swap/sacrificial and excadrill in the back to close. It’s easy to win back a terrible lead especially if it’s a Togekiss or dialga :p

I run mewtwo lead with focus blast for occasional booms, conkelldurr (cause it’s my only shundo) and garchomp w/ dt sand tomb earth power. It is not a good team lol but sometimes I win

Why would you want to use a 98 if you have a 100 IV? ML doesn’t have a CP cap. Classic has a level cap, you can’t go higher than 40, but there is no CP cap. So the hundo will get you a higher CP. You probably want to even best buddy for a little extra.

Yeah it's a good core. You'll have to rely a lot on getting the right allignment though since togekiss is very useless if you don't get it locked into a good matchup

Some players, including myself, just startend playing over 5 years ago. It's a matter of patience and making the right choices. Too many people prefer to Power their trash IV Shiny f. Ex.

Battle League is a good source of stardust. Raids and other things like Adventure Sync rewards, hatching 10 and 12 KM eggs along with other things will get you dust. It just depends are you constantly powering up pokemon to add to your raid party or to use in gyms? Different players have different priorities. Battle League is the most enjoyable aspect of the game for me. So most of my dust goes to powering up pokemon for battle league. I haven’t changed my UL team in about 5 seasons. So each season I just stack the dust. This season has probably been the most expensive for me so far.

The cutoff is different for everyone Pokémon. I use the matrix simulator tool on PvPoke to compare my best versions of a legendary to the 100%. If they don't miss any or the majority of major matchups I build.

I don't feel like pvp at the moment. Why? Cause I'm having so much lag it messes up the whole game. If I have one battle with lag not only do I loose but it causes the rest of the game to lag. Plus when I do manage 3 wins for the encounter all I get is Mesprit. Freaking Mesprit. Over the last 5 days I just managed to get enough wins to get at least 3 encounters, and it was Mesprit every time.

Well the good thing about classic masters is that there are no XL Pokémon so teams can actually be cheaper than in ultra (besides the fact that you need some legends)

Master league classic doesn't allow any XL mons. This is actually the cheapest cup in terms of stardust to play. Only thing you need are good IV mons

@@TheSeattleGamer definitely not the cheapest in stardust. Legendaries with second charge moves add up, and there are plenty of non-xl great league teams that work very well. Also Little Cups are super cheap 😂

@@kevinray6575 false. Most Legendaey mons start out in the 2k CP range non weather boosted. Takes normally 230k dust to max one to lvl 40 and if you include the second move, that's 330k dust. Most lvl 49 to 50 XL mons in GL or UL are taking 460 to 500k dust to hit max lvl without even figuring in the second move. You can't count little cups since they only exist for 2 weeks out of a 3 month season.

@@TheSeattleGamer I'm saying that the 330k dust for master league is a lot more than MOST great league teams. Yes, you could make a triple XL Bastiodon, Sableye, Medicham, but you can easily compete in great league with dust budget teams.
