Oh, I have one idea I forgot to mention! Do a "look what I found while 'curbside shopping'/'what someone was going throw away' and then style it. Maybe do a Spring Challenge w the same theme? I love your channel. It's because of what I have learned from you that I created a mood board and actually found the dinning chairs of my dreams (my current dreams) on Nextdoor and the previous owner let me have them for FREE. I am so happy I just found your channel. I saw your comment on Sherry from Canterbury Cottage section. We were homeless for 5 years and lost all of our belongings that were in storage. We just purchased a drug house to rehab and I love to see how others restyle their thrifting finds. We are on an extremely limited budget. We found out our septic system needed replacing and we spent a whole year digging it by hand with shovels. We were finishing up as the 1st snow started. It is extremely hard work especially since we have health issues and are in our late 50's. I would really love to be entered in each giveaway, but my favorite is the little lamp. I just found and bought two handmade hand knotted rugs!!! Got them for around $6 each and one is a large circle and the other 4 x 6 ft. Got them this past weekend. No one else seems as excited as I am about them but that’s ok I’m excited enough for everyone here!!! Plus I found a vintage bowl with pitcher made by International China I think but it goes perfect on my vintage dry sink in my master bathroom!!! My next project will be a gallery wall with different size frames and maybe some plates as well. I love your channel.

My favorite piece in the giveaway is the china dish. I use bits and pieces of china throughout my home because it is easy to find in my area. Art that I like is not easy to find so I have been purchasing downloadable art work from Etsy, having it printed at a local Walgreens and using a thrifted frame. It's amazing how beautiful these turn out. I would love more episodes on thrifting clothing and putting outfits together. Not on decorating, but I buy many health books at the thrift store, particularly, nursing, EMT, respiratory therapy etc , textbooks😂 I am hoping to find medical books from med school, but they are few and far between. Old veterinary science books occasionally turn up, as well as old medical books, like 1900 to 1945 era. Some things never change, so any medical knowledge is worth its weight in gold! If you ever have to manage a medical condition without the benefit of emergency rooms or abundant doctors/dentists you will be VERY grateful for a little knowledge!

Rachel, like you my home and wardrobe is mostly thrifted. The cottage style has always been my favorite. And it’s so hard to find cottage style at most retail stores, so thrift stores are the perfect place to develop this style. I so loved all of the inspiration in the video. Like you art is a weakness. I absolutely love your videos! So many great ideas for cottage style. You are extremely creative. I hope you don’t mind my saying that “down” pillows and bedding are not cruelty free. The animals endure significant pain. But buying “second hand” is okay because that way you are not contributing to any cruelty. I just wanted to point this out. Used books are a life saver for me. I read about 20-30 books per month. If I had to buy them new I would go broke. I have also a huge selection of art books and decorating books. BTW the floral chair you are sitting in today was on the cover of a Country decor magazine last month!

Get your tea! Love that you said that just as I sipped my tea! Love your videos. I just reviewed your blog and the tutorial on the shade pleating. I'm sorry but I would need more details on how to accomplish those different methods. I've been a seamstress for 60 years and a crafter, and I didn't see enough to be able to know how to pleat, measure the fabric and finish them off. Did I miss something in the instructions?
