Sometimes I'm a real klutz! I was in the notification panel and I THOUGHT I was removing the notification while I was actually REMOVING comments! So apologies to anyone who posted here and then it VANISHED. There doesn't seem to be any way to UNDO when you remove a comment! I am sorry about that. I know William Jackson had a great detailed reply that I inadvertently nuked. And there may be a few others. I did find his entire comment in my email so I will copy/paste it here: "A great list. Ah Micronauts and Man-Thing, thats a story I've never forgotten, the scene with the airboat, great story. Man-Wolf Gallery Edition, I'd be in on that, another of your picks I loved when I was younger. Austin on inks, the only way I like Byrne art, Days of Future Past part one was a bombshell issue, one of my favourites too. Your Kull story was brilliant, I enjoyed this Top Ten more than I thought I would. I'll have to back to you with my 10 Comics that I own, its going to be a tough call but there'll be X-Men.. this may take a day or two.

@@LarrysLibrary I had to be cruel, also decided not to double anything you picked, obviously everyone in their right mind will go with Uncanny 141 but wheres the fun for you in that, so many great comics I had to punt further down the list as I was compiling the cream of my crop, no X-Force, no X-23, no Doorway to Nightmare, no Madame Xanadu, no Captain Carrot, no Ambush Bug, no Firestorm, no Sword of the Atom, no Action Comics drawn by Gil Kane. No Immortal Doctor Fate fighting mummies, no Arion Lord of Atlantis, no Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, no Hobgoblin, not even Juggernaut vs Spider-Man. No, had to be tough, and boy was it .. hope you find my Top Ten Single Issue Comics entertaining. As stipulated selected from individual comics I own. Grouped as DC, Marvel, and an indie, alphabetical, no countdown, picking these was hard enough without ranking them. Detective Comics 526 fantastic anniversary issue, who isnt in this great giant sized comic, written by Gerry Conway with art by Don Newton & Alfredo Alcala, just one story, this is how to do a big commerorative issue. John Constantine Hellblazer 1 of 300, Jamie Delano & John Ridgway, what a ride, what a beautiful cover, sets the tone for a hell of a ride, my favourite dirty b@stard. Legion of Super Heroes 290 my heroes get whupped bad by weirdoes, a mystery full of creepy adversaries that leads to something you never see coming, fantastic! The New Teen Titans 19 a simple confrontation escalates out of control when one flash of light in a museum catches some glass artifact and unleashes mythological beings, battle ensues and the musuem is trashed, visual action packed feast from Marv Wolfman & George Perez. Tales of The New Teen Titans 42 beginning the awesome Judas Contract, revelations, defeats, betrayal .. the equivalent of a bomb detonating, what a comic. Peter Parker Spectacular Spider-Man 64 Cloak & Dagger, say no more.. my decadeds long love for those poor runaways all began here. The New Mutants : Special Edition, sure theres a hundred issues to pick from but this special embodies everything I love about that first series, good story, good art, and characters I love, with some Asgardian fantasy thrown in. Best pocket money buy you could ask for. New X-Men 37 students of academy x tell horror stories, one is a prophetic warning of damnation, Limbo is calling .. Kyle & Yost effortlessly spinning some of the best X comics in years with Skottie Young line art and horror story pages with painted art by Niko Henrichon. Wonderful issue that starts an epic quest. Uncanny X-Men 190 sequel to Marvel Team-Up 79 Spider-Man / Red Sonja, Kulan Gath returns and he's taking no chances with old foes .. epic story, two issues?! today it'd be a dozen issue event over the summer with a a handful of trades. Claremont delivering his A Game with Romita JR, one of my favourites stories. Mythography 1 anthology comic containing a Poison Elves story Crow - an adptation of Edgar Allan Poe's poem The Raven, Drew Hayes funny humour at it's best.

I'll have to check some of these issues out! I also have those Marvel Premiere issues. Are you aware that David Kraft and George Perez worked together two years before? In 1977 they did the adaption of Logan's Run which is fantastic. It actually turns that at times dull movie into a dynamic story. Klaus Jansen inks over Perez. Highly recommended. It's the first 5 issues of the Logan Run title. They did two more issues with different creators in an attempt to do original stories in the Logan Run universe but it didn't go anywhere. But those first 5 issues are sweet.

Your top ten list is awesome this month. It's hard to pick my favorite in that bunch. I have all of them in PDF form. My dad scanned my collection to save on shipping, when I moved to Italy back in 2001 to be with the beautiful woman who is now my wife of nearly 20 years. I had thousands of comics, including entire runs of a lot of series. I didn't expect to see MICRONAUTS on the list. Furthermore, I gained a new appreciation for that book after my debut article for BACK ISSUE back in 2014 was on those Marvel Comics. Getting Golden's signature must have been amazing. The Italian version came out as a four issue series, with two issues translated every month. So, #8 was in #4. Furthermore, I have the others on your list in PDF format, but one of these days I'd love to have custom hardcovers made for some series like CONAN. Great list! Did you know that Brian Michael Bendis wrote a script for an horror themed X-Men movie adapting that Kitty Pryde alone in the mansion story? I first "met" Kitty in my mid 30s, so it was a bit late for me to have a crush on her, but I do love her as a proud uncle. My favorite X-Men.

Larry, I have that same Sting and scabbard. Doesn’t it drive you nuts that there are screws visible on the scabbard? Also, been meaning to ask if you’ve ever played Lord of the Rings online for the pc. It’s FTP. I’ve loved that game for over a decade.

I read and enjoyed the DH Busiek series. I haven't read the Aaron (or any of the last Marvel Conan stuff. I would like too sometime and would buy it if it gets Omnied (maybe by Titan?).
