I wish people would understand France is not US. I can attest that my French father-in-law lived in his own home to the age of 98. He spent his last years to the age of 102 in a nursing home that provided medical care as well. But hey, many elders live at home to the end of their days with neighbors and friends of all ages throughout your lifetime.

i was born in Montpellier it's a good cheap town very good weather, the sea but you have to live just outside the town and i can garantee you will have a very beautiful house for a lot cheaper than nice with almost the same weather AND NOT IT IS NOT GREY ,

I am french and yes if you have to go in justice in france good luck (very long and very inefective) that's a big thing you should talk about it too

i think it is possible ( i am french) but depend the surface you want for your house I hate public transportation too execpt when i want to travel but i drive my car on a regular basis
