I dunno why i got excited when you used the most extreme for the countdowns but it was a pleasant surprise. You know what scared me as a kid? 10: folgaran the armored beast & ow-gow (klonoa 2) 9: cat beast (9) 8: the stone jaguar (road to el Dorado) 7: the snake (my life as a teenage robot) 6: weremoles (courge the cowardly dog) 5: Mongolian deathworm and megalana (lost tapes) 4: the lizard (ferngully 1 & 2) 3: the swamp monster & the evil thing (goosebumps) 2: junkyard (the brave little toaster) 1: ambulocetus (prehistoric whale) Some of these things i outgrew. Mostly the higher on the list, the less it effected me. The lower on the list it means i either had nightmares about it and/ or it still gets me to this day.

I think I'm the only one who wasn't afraid of that episode. Instead the weremole got me. I watched that episode again and it's actually pretty funny.

​@@Twinklethefox9022neither of those episodes really freaked me out, although I do remember being spooked by an ad for the weremole episode and seeing Muriel growl at Courage; literally my first impression of Muriel and the show. The biggest moment in Courage that freaked me out was that violin girl.

What scared me as a little kid: 1. Ursula from The Little Mermaid 2. Jafar from Aladdin 3. The bear from The Fox & the Hound 4. That skeleton from that episode of Rugrats where Tommy was at the post office. I seriously hope that was a Halloween decoration. 5. The Goosebumps show. 6. That "boy who cried Wolf" episode in Power Rangers in Space. Special mention goes to the moment where the kid can see the monster in the reflection of a rear view mirror when the monster's impersonating the officer and the monster tauntingly asks "What did you see next door Patrick?". 7. That violin girl from Courage the Cowardly Dog. 8. That moment where Cinderella's stepmother locked her in the tower.

I’m recently playing the Sly trilogy, after they announced the PS5 version of Sly 1, so I can 100% them. And yeah the swamp level was kinda scary, but imo Clockwork was the most scary part of the 1st game, especially his 2D illustrations and the title card for ep 5. And his final boss music sounds very foreboding.

There was a lot of things that scared the crap out of me as a kid it is probably just some dumb stuff as well but to me it's traumatizing Stuff like master hand from smash Bros melee. That terrifying butterfly face from SpongeBob. That frog from that shrek 4.D dvd video I'm not kidding about that. Monster house 2006 and yes it's the house that scared me. And don't that monster inc teaser trailer the one where that dog growls at mike. there was a lot stuff that scared me in the 2000's
