Yeah, Rise of Skywalker and Captain Marvel aren't nearly that bad. They're disappointing and definitely not good movies, but both are very much watchable and fairly enjoyable. Them being higher than trainwrecks like Hellboy, Brightburn or Dark Fate happens only because they're from high-profile franchises and naturally more people are invested in them, which is why they get more votes.

Let's all appreciate how "Cats" brought us all together, no easy feat in 2019. The #5, #4, #3, and #2 picks are all at least a little controversial, with people who would vehemently defend them or accuse critics of having ulterior motives. But Cats is so universally bad we can all be united like the Who's at the end of the Grinch, holding hands and singing. About how awful it was.

Look, I don’t wanna defend Cats. Is Cats bad? Yes. However, do I sincerely recommend watching it? Absolutely. If movies are supposed to make you feel things then Cats did an amazing job. It’s so extreme and intensely confusing I think every person should experience it, because it’s a one-of-kind experience. It’s extremely well done, every move they make is flawless, the problem is the movie makes SO MANY bad moves, like it’s amazing in how fucking weird it is. The chaotic energy is strong.

Captain Marvel is by no means a "bad" movie, but not a good one either. It's the first marvel superhero movie featuring a female lead yet for some reason they decided to deliver an almost completely flat character without even half the complexity of the male heroes of marvel. I honestly would not have enjoy that movie at all if not for Samuel Jackson.

Captain marvel didn't had huge support from the media actually it was all on the internet the whole controversy between captain marvel and the ones boycotting her film. Also is not hated by the whole public, it might be hated for the small group boycotting but most of the people who watched find to be a decent movie. While Joker had an early controversy cause by american media only but then when the film got out that controversy fade away because the feedback was mostly positive and was winning awards around the world. Just because a film is about bad people doesn’t make the film bad. Plus, Uncut Gems is a morality tale, it doesn’t reward or celebrate criminals at all.

Charlie’s angels and captain marvel don’t deserve this. Yes they aren’t the best of the year but they really aren’t as bad as people say they are. What pisses me off is that people didn’t even watch Charlie’s angels and concluded it’s bad. You can assume a movie is bad but never conclude without watching it.
