There was this old yu-gi-oh pc game called yu-gi-oh: power of chaos yugi the destiny where anti-raigeki was somehow useful to have as an option. Because of the limited amount of cards that game had, yugi would always spam raigeki whenever you had like two monsters on your side, even if it was just to destroy a celtic guardian or a beaver warrior. There was nothing more infuriating that having yugi stall the game for three turn with the swords of light just to nuke your board with a raigeki afterwards. Even so, you still needed to be lucky enough to have placed anti-raigeki before, but the glory of counter-nuking Yugi's board and see him like *CCCAN'T BE* was sublime.

Also I'm pretty sure you could activate it even if Yugi's board was empty, so the rule that states you can't activate on an empty board was added later on. What if they did a retrain of Anti-Raigeki, name it something like "Raigeki Rod" (since Raigeki's card art looks like lightning, so it's a play on a lightning rod). Have it be a continuous trap card with an effect reading: Once per turn, when your opponent activates "Raigeki", negate the activation of that card and destroy it, and if you do place one Raigeki counter on this card. You may destroy this card with one or more Raigeki counters on it, and if you do, destroy all monsters your opponent controls. That way it still holds the same idea of Anti-Raigeki, being that it stops your opponent's activation and blows up their board, but stores it until you're ready to use it making it interruption to your opponent's plays. Plus, depending on how exactly they worded the second effect, there would be room for you opponent to play around it. As written, if your opponent chains destruction to you activating it, then they destroy it, not you, and its effect fizzles. Or they could write it as "send it to the graveyard" instead of destroying it, and that way it gets floodgated out by Macro Cosmos or similar

You made a video about going second cards. How about top 10 going first cards?

You should do a top 10 monsters where the last 2 digits of its attack are not 00 (i.e. 2550).

Please do Top 10 cards with the wording "you can use the effect of this card once per turn" meaning you can use the effect of it again if you have another copy of it !

Top 10 cards that are limited (not forbidden) for the longest time. Card destruction numero uno.

The thing about Link Party is that you either set up enough Link monsters to effectively win at that point or you hope you get lucky during your opponent's turn.

Funnily enough, anti raigeki is a staple in yugi power of chaos since there weren't card interruptions like magic jammer yet

I like the "WORST" top 10 Videos the most.

You know the rest of the list is gonna be bad when the 10 spot is Time Wizard. Setting the bar really low out the gate!

I'm honestly somewhat surprise dark mirror force isn't on this list while dark hunter is. I would argue dark hunter is easier to achieve than a good dark mirror force. Besides against superheavy samurai, the condition to trigger dark mirror force is contrary to the targets, making the card hard to use. Meanwhile, you at least get to be active in your own graveyard building.

To be fair to Dragon Laser, you'd only ever use it in a Konami Arcade Shmup deck which isn't really competitive anyway. Fun archetype though.

I feel like some of these placements are backwards; Tribe-Shocking Virus while bad isn't worse in viability than Dragon Laser, it could technically see some ill-advised use in a Zombie World Shiranui deck for example. Same goes for Worm Victory - the fact it has an archetype support Continuous Spell to set up its effect makes it more viable than Dragon Laser. Personally I'd probably put Weed Out at #6 and Dragon Laser at #5. Also, disheartening to see Blind Destruction on the list since it and Needle Wall were go to cards for me way back in the day - though admittedly Needle Wall was much more useful overall.

It’s poetic that anti Raigeki would take the number 1 spot.

Are there enough cards to make a "Top Ten Best Raigeki-Like Effects in Yugioh"? Prank-Kids Battle Butler, Elemental HERO Absolute Zero, and Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon come to mind as candidates.

Tribe-shocking virus could actually be useful when used with DNA surgery on the field. The combo could be really powerful.

yeah, just make sure you got a way to make sure your monsters can deal with friendly fire

Love the video but I had to chuckle when you mentioned "if you roll 6 or higher" during the talks about Blind Destruction. How do you roll higher than a 6 on a 6-sided die 🤔?

man anti raigeki got a lot more useful all of the sudden now that it's at 3
