Christopher Columbus really landed in Aguadilla, as ship cannons were found and used by a local, to irrigate its house water. The other true reason, to prove they landed in Aguadilla, its because they collected barrels of natural spring water from the Parterre, before leaving through la Mona Passage, heading to South America, in search of gold. The only spring fresh drinking water near shore, found only in Aguadilla's bay entrance. The Parterre holds natural running spring water, in huge natural ponds. Christopher Columbus and its crew discovered this natural spring water reservoir in Aguadilla, located near its shores, on the North Western part of Aguadilla Harbour. They collected water, a vital element to survive their voyage to the Americas.

Thanks for showing Aguadilla. I was born there. And lived until I was 8 when I moved to the States. I am from a little town called San Antonio. I still remember the school, the baseball park and the plaza. And going to Las Fiestas Patronales there.

To get to Aguadilla from San Juan, there is no public transport, right? It's best to rent a car or take a plane?

In that colorful neighborhood, are some of the residents taking advantage of the increased foot traffic, and selling stuff like limbers, jugos naturales, pastelillos, etc from their balcones? If I went up into that area, I would love to support the community with those type of purchases. Or is the increased foot traffic not sufficient to really justify it?

They used to much more than now but because covid everything halted for a hit, they did built an airbnb and there is a lil store but just hear from the locals last week that they will be redoing the houses and more art to get it back going! 🙌🏼🇵🇷

Do uk where to find good pastelon in PR
@TongoPR3 жыл бұрын
Good pastelon usually try to go to a local cafeteria (restaurant with the food in the steam tables) most puertorican spots change their food menu daily and almost always have that staple dish

No face masks on the table, specially at a restaurant/public place. it’s not hygienic. If anything just roll it up your arm that way you won’t loose it and it’s out of your way. 😉🤨😘
