I used this guide for a vacation I planned to Bodega Bay. I didn’t go to everything mentioned here, but I will say Bodega head is a must. Going to recommend the Fishetarian for some amazing fish and chips and Dave’s ice cream and espresso, get the maple nut ice cream. The vinegars at the Bodega Bay Oyster Shop are amazing as well

I have cruised to Bodega Bay many times on my boats. We stay at Spud Point Marina Spud Point Crab Co is great for breakfast if you want crab on a biscuit or roll.. There really isn't any place at the harbor at Spud Point Marina you can get traditional breakfast of like eggs, hashbrowns, sausage or bacon. If you want that, it's about a 3/4 mile walk to Bodega Bay proper.

At 1:55 there's a beach below you. Can you pinpoint on a map where that is and where you park to get down there. Would it be difficult for someone who is out of shape, lol?

38.3043250851957, -123.06472290482834 are the coordinates.. and "out of shape" is relative! i was 15 lbs heavier than my normal weight in this video because i wasn't working out!

I haven't been to Bodega Bay since the early 1960s when my grandparents had a RV park up the hill from there. (I don't know how far it was from the coast because I was only four or five). Grandma told me when they were filming "The Birds", she was hired to wash all the ketchup(?) out of the clothes. I remember eating shrimp for the first time there. I didn't want to stop eating it but Grandma said I would get sick if I didn't. Time sure flies!!
