I am a New Yorker. Coney Island is a hole! It look more like Point Pleasant NJ. NJ has some very pristine beaches such as island beach state park, Cape May, Ocean Grove and so on but this looks like Point Pleasant Beach NJ!

I last visited during comic-con and EVERYTHING was closed. The Macy's was looking like it was about to shut down too. Just 2 years ago the Levis store was still open, now its long gone.

Man I use to come down there to visit all my Marines Buddies! So many memories! We use to go to the clubs Friday Nights, spend Saturdays at Horton Plaza and downtown then club again Saturday night, Then all Day Sunday at Mission Beach! SO COOL!!! BTW Your buddy looks like he was riding a Dahon foldable bike. I was debating between a Brompton and a Dahon and leaning towards the Dahon because it's cheaper and a bit more sturdy looking. Keep the vids coming bro :)

Glad you can reminisce about your memories there! I still remember that 18 and over club i think it was called Cane's. That was my warm up to Vegas days once i turned 21 haha. I think you're right on the bike, i dont know much about bikes but his looks cool. Just discovered Van Moof Bikes, those look awesome! Horton Plaza used to be an awesome mall.... too bad the last Mayor who lost the football team also played a hand to the end of Horton Plaza. I believe its going to become office campus with maybe a few shops around. So sad!

I love SD. Lived there when I was in the military and a little after. Always went to Mission Beach. It’s different now but still love it. Met the love of my life and got married. He passed away after 31years.

How is mask enforcement there? Do they tell you anything if you don’t wear a mask?

outside in places that is not crowded its not a big deal. It's more when people are inside or in crowded areas.

The mask mandate ends June 15th. Right now you have to wear masks inside where ever you go.

Try going into a supermarket or a Walmart without wearing a mask and they will tell u to put on a mask. And if u don't their security will escourt you out of the building. I had left my mask in my car and walked into a Walmart and was reminded that I didn't have because I had forgotten it so I had to go back to get it. Don't talk when u don't know what ur talking about. The mask mandate ends June 15th. Do ur homework before u shoot off ur mouth.
