Finally, after living in Madison County from 1984 to 1991, I left to move north. Then, after my departure, it was finally decided to put water back in Lake Reba. Had I but known, I might have remained there. Oh well, I now have the Ohio River a few yards from my back door, & Lake Vesuvius, Greenbo Lake, & Roosevelt Lake all less than 30 minutes away.

You're confused, the Confederates never succeeded in taking Kentucky. My great-grandfather was a US Cavalry Sergeant at the Battle of Richmond, & his brother was a teamster for the US forces there.
