this was my first view on this channel and I love it. WAY WAY better than most yammerheads. I searched for Shropshire and they cut straight to the chase. interesting and informative 😃

Hi Luke and Tyler. I was born in the south Shropshire hills but now Louvre in London. The video is great and it reminds me and my husband of the trips we bake there to see family and the beautiful countryside. Mark and Adrian

hi Luke, hope you manage to visit all the places you want to before your visa runs out. Enjoyed this video of yours especially as it reminded me of the many long weekend trips our family made from the south to visit our great aunt in Wem. We roamed the area, over the years and took in the places you looked at - and used it as a base to visit North Wales. Many happy memories. Thank you. Good luck to you both in your coming travels.

Thanks for this well made video! I used to study in Shrewsbury Technical College from 1972 to 1975 before I went to university in Manchester. As a student, I used to work in Berni Inns (The Criterion) in the High Street during weekends and summers. I enjoyed visiting the Flower Show held every summer in the Quarry! Shrewsbury is a very beautiful town with friendly people. Lots and lots of lovely memories. 💕💕

Hi Luke, really glad you enjoyed living in the area. Great little video. Just for info for anyone visiting, Chester is actually the capital of Cheshire and has city status hence having a cathedral along with a university. Looking forward to seeing some of your future adventures.

Great video guys. We’re lucky enough to live in Shropshire. In Church Stretton. Stunningly beautiful area it has the status of AONB an (AREA of OUTSTANDING NATURAL BEAUTY) it lives up to the title. Totally unspoilt. There are many other beautiful areas around Shropshire and although you say the city of Shrewsbury in your video, it doesn’t have city status.... yet. It should have as its a lovely friendly place.

@@LukeandTylerTravel it's always nice to have insider knowledge rather than just tourist visions. Thankyou for this!
@gerrylast11 ай бұрын
I think it only fair to say that Shropshire came out in bottom position on my website a few years back. True my site at the time was arguably the most comprehensive listing of free attractions in England, but it involved contacting various bodies, tourist boards, councils, etc, and Shropshire came out at the very bottom across the whole of England. I am more than happy to show any member of the tourist board or county council why they came out bottom, even if they do not wish to explain why they were so lax in replying to my emails and telephone calls at the time. I should point out that this was all pre COVID so that should not be used as an excuse😊

@markbaker4653 жыл бұрын
It is actually part of the West Midlands *region*, just not the West Midlands *county*. Easy to get mixed up, but it's definitely quite right to say it's in the West Midlands, which is exactly what was said in the video. The thing that was actually a slight mistake is calling Shrewsbury a city, but we'll forgive you! :)
