Thank you to everyone in the comments who've pointed out one small thing I missed ❤ As you're dropping down the Jar's into Belurat Gaol, when you get to about the 4th one from the bottom, face WEST and you can drop down onto a ledge to open a chest containing a Hefty Cracked Pot.

For the knight I found that the sacred relic sword works wonders just spam the power attack...I will knock him down and continue till you finish him works great with the beast claw dude also love the channel love to help my fellow tarnished 😊

when you pick up an item , just flash the map brother. i know you show markers at one point but a simple flash to the maop every time would be so much better, this is what we / i ment in the last series.... every time you are actually at the location, just show it real quick on. the map

Hey Dom great vid. Wanted to let you know that you missed a treasure chest inside the gaol. I forget what’s inside but as you’re dropping down the jar platforms at the third jar (I believe)before the bottom you can drop in the opposite direction onto another jar it’s a further drop but it’s there and then you can roll onto a long wooden platform. There you’ll fight 2 small jars and a jar guts guy (sorry I don’t know what they’re called) then you’ll see and get the chest. Hope this helps y’all. Also I was getting beat down by that giant electrified ram for a least 30 minutes 😂

Hi Dom, when dropping down the pots in Belurat goal there is an alternate pot path which leads to an extra hefty pot!

Almost 3 years later here I am again watching your vids again, they helped me a lot with the main game. VERY IMPORTANT: Regarding the Foragers Brood. I snuck up on the one in this video planning to critical hit, but I noticed the idle animation was different. And a talk option appeared. That’s when I saw another players spirit run up and kill it immediately (ending his questline immediately). Later on in the game you will find another one of these curled up in agony, suffering from disease. Use a warming stone on top of its body and you will heal it back to life. I haven’t finished this quest line but I’m guessing this is a very important step for it. Also, a talk option didn’t appear after I healed the second brood not sure if that’s intentional or not.

If you quit out of the game and reload, the talk option will reappear. It gives you another cookbook

someone's probably already mentioned this but for the furnace golems, the poise damage they take is based on DPS rather than actual poise damage inflicted by your weapon. it seems like its a flat amount of damage per stance break

"Furnace Visage" can be farmed from mesmer footsoldiers close to the dead furnace golem, east of shadow keeper (main gate) also in the pot drop section, in the item jar (14:56) Instead of following the second half of this fall, try jump drop to your back, in the plataform there some itens to take, take care of the false pot.

You missed something in the Belurat Gaol in the middle of where you drop down on the Pots you have to turn around and take a less obvious route to get to a ledge there are a few enemies and a chest but I can not remember off the top of my head what was in there.

the furnace visages are not limited, you can farm them from a group of messmer soldiers right outside of the shadow keep

It’s amazing how much is in the dlc. It’s really amazing and feels so much more handmade than the base game. The entire over world is so thought out and the caves and dungeons catacombs etc are such a step above. I love Miyazaki. I hope he lives a long happy productive life. I hope he one day gets to make the game he wants to make. That fulfills his vision. The man is a saint.

There's a heavy pot in a chest in the Gaol. Where the glass shard is, turn around and jump to the pot, then the ledge. Survive the ambush, there's a chest on the left.

Not sure if this happened for others, but the first Black Knight at the church actually dropped his weapon for me, not the shield. Curious if others have had this happen too. I'm certainly not complaining though, it's a pretty cool looking hammer!

You missed this: In the area where you drop down on hoisted pots in Ballurat Gaol, you can actually drop down to a ledge that has a chest with a hefty cracked pot in it. You need to change directions once youre on the pot with the corpse. Also, only rolling is required to descend the pots. You merely have to place your character exactly in the middle of the diverging chains of the pot you're going to descend onto.

in the Belurat Gaol you can easily walk off and drop to each jar safely. done it 3 times now without fail. just FYI

For all those pots you listed to walk walk walk run jump roll… you can simply just walk off every time to make sure you land on every pot. You just want to aim for the center avoiding the chains.

You were right in your view that sorcery would be neglected in Shadow of the Erdtree. I have a level 200 build sorcerer. Dragons and large area bosses haven't proved a problem. More confined area bosses, such as the Black Knight in the mausoleum, are proving to be impossible to defeat. Comet Azur with buffs doesn't even take away half the health. I managed to do the main game with this build. I have even buffed up on Scadutree, but to no avail. Roamed most of the areas and not seen one new sorcery spell and nothing that is sorcery related, either staffs or clothing.

they changed the Sword of night or light location, now you grab the sword from the ruins that you have to wake the wickerman to enter, then you have to go to the catacomb to turn it dark or the other place to turn it to light.

At 15 minutes in there is a wooden platform you can jump to with a chest and 2 mini jars and one fleshymeat innard thing that can grab you if not carfull

People have probably found this out by now, but the nobles with pots on their heads will respawn if you quit our and reload the game, no need to go to a Grace site. They're like the scarabs in the main game.

Furnace Visage are not limited, there are a few NPCs close to a corpse of a Furnace Golem that have a low drop rate (u might know this by now ofc since this video is a few days old now)

The jar room in the Gaol is split into 3 semi-square sections with a large "pile" of jars in the center of each. The one you start off in (the one you fall down into) also has the one and only exit

The furnace pots are nedeed to kill certain furnace golems that have their legs armored with metal plates.
