Top Thrill 2 [Full POV] - Cedar Point (Planet Coaster)

This is my recreation of Top Thrill 2! The Reimagined Top Thrill Dragster. No more hydraulic launch for this coaster, TT2 will now feature 3 LSM launches. First going forward 74mph, then backwards hitting 101mph, then forward again reaching 120mph. The 420ft Top Hat remains while getting a 420ft Vertical Spike which you will go after the backwards launch. Hold on and prepare for a new TRILL! Haha I really had hope that Frontier decided to randomly add an update that allowed track changes as well as both forward and reverse launches on the same ride. This ride is so unique! The video edit is chef's kiss good!

This is 99% accurate. The only critique is that the first launch sadly won't go that high up the hill before going backwards.

@@robertchermanright? It’s still going the same speed as the orginal. The launch might not be as intense because there’s more track to gain speed but come on it’s still 120pmph. Coaster enthusiasts are so annoying. “Oh only 120 mph 🙄”

I guess the best part is when you experience zero G for about 6 seconds on the spike - I am not aware of another ride that would give you that.

Very nice animation! Regarding the actual ride though, I think it will be cool but not amazing by any means. So you go backwards and get some more freefall... Nice way to reinvent the ride but "ehhhh..."

I think you are off a bit on the initial launch. Per the POV from CP it doesnt make it very far up the tower, definitely not to the twist. Other than that it seems spot on. Is the first launch to 72 or whatever its supposed to be?

Did you utilise a cut to launch the shuttle launch forward first or can this coaster type actually launch forward first? The S.L.V. (Schwarzkopf Shuttle) always awkwardly snails forwards first to launch backwards first and then forwards

This recreation is *ALMOST* spot on, there is 2 flaws I noticed. 1:) your first launch is too fast, according to the official stats and official animation released by CP, the first launch only goes like 80mph, and doesn’t get even get 1/4 up the top hat (yours got like 1/2 up) 2:) the final break run on Top Thrill 2 is completely “flat” (like a 1% decline) yours drops significantly. Maybe these flaws are based on Planet Coasters limitations, so it’s not a big deal, but it’s just 2 things I noticed

I initially agreed with what you're saying but this is a much longer ride and it's going to give some unique sensations you don't get anywhere else. Plus, let's not forget that this was a 420 foot tall and 120+ mph coaster... And it STILL IS!
