The thing about this ride, to be honest, is that it isn't actually scary. For anyone who hasn't gone on it before, you would think the drop would hurt terribly in your stomach and it would overall just be a terrible beast of a ride. But in reality, it isn't. I was the person that was almost in tears waiting in line for this ride, and after the corkscrew going down I screamed "you weren't even a bi***" because I was hyperventilating for an hour in line for nothing. By the time you notice how high you are, you are already going back down, and you don't feel anything in your stomach as you would on Millennium. The ride itself is not scary at all. The anxiety waiting in line and before you take off are the scariest parts of the experience, hands down.

I also agree! Haha. I was literally so scared saying I'd rather die, then my friends literally pushed me on. The light was like, "Red, yellow, green, ZOOM!" and I screamed so loud! Then on the way down, I'm like, "Oh yeah!" And threw my hands up. You always end with the biggest smile on your face. Everything is easier than it seems.

The problem with rides like this (that start at full throttle) from a thrillseeker perspective is that there's not enough psychological torture from the slow climb up the hill. By the time you realize how high up you are, you're already back down. I was always scared of rides when I was a kid. On those times when my dad convinced me it was safe and OK and he would be right there, he turned the tables as we started climbing the hill. "Those bolts sure do look rusty. I wonder if they'll hold." Despicable and hilarious.

I absolutely love love love this coaster. The force from take off is so fast, your head to waist is pinned to the seat. When you go over the top and turn upside down in the spiral, it feels like you're going fly out of your seat because your looking over that huge lake then straight down. It is amazing. My 9-yr old nephew is finally tall enough for the rides and wants to celebrate his birthday at CP next month. So we're going again.

So I haven't gone on this, (and I don't want to), but I was there for Music in the Park with my choir. I went to use the restroom that was kind of close to Top Thrill Dragster. I was minding my own buisness, just trying to use the restroom, and all of a sudden, this HUMONGOUS gust of wind blows through the bathroom. It felt like I was in the middle of a tornado. Now, keep in mind, I was about 2 stalls away from the back wall of the restroom, and there are about 10 stalls on each side. All I could hear were the screams of the people on the ride. All in all, 10/10 experience. Something I will never forget. Use the restroom near this ride to see what I mean.

This ride is insane. The first 4 seconds are intense. The climb is only about 6 seconds long, but it feels as if there isn't enough momentum for the car to complete the climb. The plunge down is fun. The entire ride itself is only about 16-17 seconds long.

Kingda Ka at SIx Flags Great Adventure in NJ...exact same ride, only there's a lift before the end. It's so fast that you don't even get the stomach feeling on the descent. Crazy... I never road Dragster. Last time I was at CP was in 2003 on a senior trip and the line was 4+ hours. We decided to wait the 2.5 hrs for Millennium Force, a far superior ride, and in my opinion one of the greatest coasters ever built.

I always thought this coaster was a huge NOPE, I saw it in the park and it looked like the most terrifying thing imaginable, but seeing a POV of it instead of being the ant on the ground, it doesn't look quite as terrifying. Like, it looks scary, but fun. Unfortunately the lines for all the coasters at CP are insanely long. Even on a weekday its like, 3 hours. :/ Next time I'll invest in a fast pass or whatever it is. It's worth the 80 bucks to actually be able to RIDE something.

I live in Indiana so once every summer my friends and I try to go too Cedar Point. The ride is AMAZINGG!! I've been on it 4 times total and every time I have to convince myself to get on it. Your adrenaline is pumping so hard from the Moment you hear the announcer because the build up is the best part.
