He counts as the “true” Jin IMO. Jin as a character is supposed to be a combination Mishima and Kazama. The split between Jin and Devil Jin I think was to reconcile the fact that they didn’t want Jin to use Mishima style in T4 for the narrative. So they gave the moveset to Devil Jin. And it’s just continued from there. But IMO T3 Jin is the most definitive version of the character.

A lot of people are blaming Rip here but he had the correct mindset. A top 15 for Tekken Characters is actually very short and leaves no room for odd picks. Tiger Jackson, Akuma and Ogre should not be there and their insistence of placing both Armor King and King in the top 10 bit them in the ass. No Jin, Yoshimitsu, Marshall Law, Steve, Hwoarang, Mokujin and Kuma/Panda in this list is just wrong. And if you're gonna meme anyways with Tiger Jackson, why not Gon?
