Zeb's appearance was pretty much the perfect cameo, too- It makes sense that he'd be chillin' in a place like that, so it doesn't feel out of place. It doesn't affect the plot in any way, so it doesn't distract (COUGH Cad Bane COUGH). He's just there to remind us that the Ghost crew is still around (mostly), and that we're probably gonna be seeing more of 'em.

My personal theory is that Moff Gideon's escape plan involved pre programmed versions of Dark Troopers. Nothing could destroy them during the season 2 finale except the beskar spear. My other theory is that there are Mandalorians that are still loyal to the empire much like how Gar Saxon and his party were loyal to the empire in Rebels

How much do you wanna bet that when Carl Weathers did the message-sending scene, a blooper shows him saying "Help me Obi Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope"! And then we get Zeb-how cool is that?!? And Katy O'Brian's character is totally a schemer-you know she's still working for Gideon. And Bulloch Canyon was a nice touch. As for the beskar found at the accident, that's just an old trick to send the authorities in the wrong direction-hopefully Carson Teva will realize that! Fantastic episode, now here's hoping Din goes with Bo on her quest...

Let's not forget that the Corvus woman (forgot her name) that was defeated by Ahsoka had a Beskar spear. And she worked for Thrawn. He's probably the one who rescued Gideon, and left some Beskar there to frame the Mandalorians.

This episode is probably my favorite of the season so far. My second favorite would have to be last week’s episode. I’ll admit I was weirded out that the Armorer made an exception for Bo-Katan to remove her helmet, but at least now she can fulfill her calling and regroup the exiled Mandalorians to reclaim their homeland. What I really loved about this episode is that Paz gained a new level of respect for Din. Paz caught me off-guard for a moment, but then he reminded me Din saved his son Ragnar.

I think the beskar found is potentially Imperial Super Commandos! We don’t know if any are still around, but if they were, I can easily see them allying with Gideon (the Imperial who wielded the Dark Saber)

This really is a mystery that can go one of two ways: Either Gideon is trying to frame the Mandalorians to ensure they can't stop his return to power or there really are Mandalorians that are loyal to Gideon, likely brought on by frustration with The Armorer's leadership and inability to secure them a steady home at that stage.

1. I acted the same way with the Zeb cameo. 2. Possible reason for the beskar ALLOY in the mid credit scene. Mandos use PURE beskar for thier armor NOT alloys. Armor like that was only used on Impierial DARK TROOPERS. So it's possible some "other impierials saved Moff Gideon. And the only other Impierials mentioned in this series we know of is THRAWN. Could there be a Thrawn reveal in the next two episodes ???

Weird how they equate finding Beskar metal in the destroyed Moff Gideon's transport shuttle to Mandalorians. It's widely known that Beskar has been mined and spread to many places in the galaxy, with many people having it (remember how Dinn Jarin got the Beskar pike in the Ashoka episode?). I wonder if Dave and Jon F simply want us to think it was Mandalorians as a slight of hand to disguise who is they will reveal actually freed Moff Gideon?

I still think it will be all three. Bo, Din & Grogu Bo: Has leadership and the Armorer and her clan are on board Din: Has the respect of the Armorer and his coven, but also has respect as the owner of the Dark Saber. Also he has made friends. Grogu: The Rancor was the giveaway in the Book of Boba Fett. But I think Grogu gets to play with the Mythasor. And something about the "Living Waters" if brought to the surface will regrow the plant.

Sometimes it takes me out of it that Bo Katan's body language and commanding presence turns my brain to mush. Totally felt the Bo thirst. Zeb looks fucking amazing, and I almost fully expect a Sabine showing in the next dew episodes. Got a couple theories on the Beskar alloy fragment on the Lambda cruiser, but I'm assuming it's likely from the squadron of Mandos that Bo was running with that left when she lost the Darksaber. Interesting seeing the different branches of Mandos and their different versions of the Creed.

Theory: Carson's line: *"There's something dangerous out there. All these events, is not convince. And by the time it becomes big enough for you to act, it'll be too late"* is more than just a 4th Wall Break, but also an answer to wheras Thrawn will show up in this show or no. The Ghost, Hera, Chopper, they all three have appeared in Rogue One, and Hera in Squadron. Now with Jar Jar's actor (Ahmed Best) making a Grand comeback, and the Actual Existence of a Mythosaur, and the sign from the Hyperspace-whales, and now Zeb's confirmation - CHEF KISS BTW! - on what happened to him after ROTJ, i am confident that by the end of the season, either Thrawn or Ezra will make their Grand appearance before the Ashoka show! And i have a huge suspicion that, the ship transporting Moff Gideon at the end of the episode, is in fact Sabine Wren looking for Ezra OR Thrawn, and she probably Took Gideon in hope to torture him to get information about either one of them, Or maybe information about where the Darksaber is. So i have High suspections that we'll see her in one of the next episodes Before the finale of the season.

Loved the Zeb cameo and the reference to Puffer Pigs. I don't think you can really call Sabine Wren an "exile". Much we don't know about what happened to her character, after she went off with Ahsoka to look for Ezra. We've seen Ahsoka, but it leaves the question of whether her appearance in the series was before or after her and Sabine's journey. It would have been a nice extra to have all the ships that Bo Katan gathered, including Moff Gideons light cruiser, arrive to fight the pirates: that would have been ALOT of Mandalorians.

That episode was so good. I think the Mandos are being framed for taking Gideon. I'm sure we'll learn more later. Also, I think that the Armorer is manipulatng Bo Katan. They are kind of manipulating eachother. They both want Mandalore back, but I think they also both want to lead. We'll see what happens. You mentioned Bryce Dallas Howard. I believe she is directing episode 6. This episode was directed by Peter Ramsey. He co-directed Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse. He has a great eye for action. I'm excited to see what Bryce has in store for us next week.

I have said since Bo-Katan first appeared on The Mandalorian that she could be the one to truly unite and rule all of Mandalore. I love Din Djarin to death, but he does NOT want to lead his people, he just wants to be a good dad and raise Grogu. And Bo-Katan has truly grown and evolved from when she was in Deathwatch. She has what it takes to be the next Queen. Also, all those in favor of a Mandalorian video game (regardless of what era it is set in) shout THIS IS THE WAY! Seriously this felt like a beautiful mix of Battlefront 2 and Squadrons! And let’s not forget, FREAKING ZEB!!!! AND HE LOOKS PERFECT!!!!

I also think Sabine technically still kind of owns The Darksaber. Perhaps The Darksaber works more like HP wands than we think. Or maybe rather than having to be disarmed, it's it's own thing, like if it's current user has trust in it's former owner then they use The Dark Saber well. Sabine fought with it well, and she gave it to Bo whom she trusted, so that means Bo also uses it well, and it's light for her. Din has never met Sabine, so even though he can use it, he is sluggish with it since it's like a dog trusting a new owner it didn't get a chance to know as a friend of it's previous owner first. Maybe it's a bit more than just fighting against the blade, although that helps.

Bryce didn't direct, she's doing next episode. It was first-timer Peter Ramsey for this one (he did Into The Spider-Verse). Really liked seeing Zeb, though at first I wasn't certain it was him or just another Lasat. I had forgotten what his voice sounded like. But this does seem they are trickle-feeding us Rebels to prepare us for Ahsoka, which I think will have a stellar opportunity to showcase a whole different scale of Star Wars easter eggs.

Mandalorians taking Gideon does make sense since some want to execute Gideon, for the destruction of Mandalor, instead of letting him go on trial. Live action Zeb was perfect. Bryce learned from her father. She was on the set of Solo while her father was reshooting the film.
