I felt like this is what needed to happen but i also had always read and heard it was the wrong thing to do. Thanks!

There’s so much mixed advice out there. Hope this is helpful, it’s definitely the case for lots of cats I’ve worked with 🙂

Really informative, and great to know the reasoning behind it!

Oh my gosh, I’ve watched so many Cat behavior videos, and even Cat behavioral list and no one has explained in such exquisite detail, this common activity of daily living. And all the things that you mentioned is exactly what’s going on and now I understand the psyche behind it. I’ll check your channel to see if you have other cat info videos. it’s funny because the algorithm just popped up on my screen literally right after I separated them from a fight earlier today they were touching noses and then before I know it Fluffy’s fur is going up in the air :(

Thanks for the lovely feedback. Sorry you had to separate a fight, fingers crossed this will help. Sometimes it’s just the smallest change that can have a big difference! 🤞🤞🤞

Very useful, and has provided me with insight into what's happening with my brother and sister cats at the moment. We had already implemented feeding in separate rooms because the brother has been becoming reluctant to eat wet food, and all dry food is fed in 4 treat balls so no dishes to resource guard. By the way I don't know if you can adjust the volume on your video - I had volume up full and it was still very quiet! Thank you for a really informative video!

Great you are already managing their feeding Behaviour well. I hope it helps and he’s eating wet food a bit better. Thank you, glad you found it helpful! 😺

Thanks so much for this video, I'm trying to introduce 2 cats for my first time, following all the instructions, but I knew my older cat was possessive of her food, first time I gave her a chicken wing she growled at me whenever I went near.....will just try distracting her with play and toys, the other cat is being pretty cool about the whole thing, heh

Wonderful information and great video, thank you....but I could barely hear it! Sound is far too low. I have found that play is also very helpful slowly introducing some Da Bird type of play between them is great. Also have had great results with Bach Flower Remedies. 🐱

Ahh sorry about the sound! 🙈 Ah yes, great idea to use play to help. I haven’t had much experience with Bach Flower Remedies, thanks for sharing :)
