In the second episode of Top Tip Tuesday we'll show you how to set up particle to particle collisions inside of X-Particles.
We'll show you how to use xpConstraints and xpPPCollisions for simple, fast collisions. We'll then guide you through setting up xpBullet for more sophisticated collisions.

Yep, i did) But it'll be really hard for your pc, if you have a large number of particles...

Excellent! I have a problem my x-particles colliding objects very far from the surface, what settings should I need to change, so particles are colliding close to the surface. Please advise me, thank you.

Great information, that collision questions come across often! But what do i do with f.e. Sand particles. Lets say 500k particles consisting of 5 irregular particle shapes? Its too heavy for bullet from what i know.

You would either have to use the particle display objects for collisions like Bob has done, and use an xpGenerator or instances for the custom geometry onto the particles. Or you could use the generated geometry for the collisions, by adding the bullet collider tag to the xpGenerator, this will give collisions accurate to the geometry but at 500k particles it will be very heavy. for things like sand how about just using the sph fluid solver? Should be much helpful than depending on bullet or even particle collision.

hi bob. thanks for the tip. I have off the topic question but i think i am not the only one that has headache .. well i have cached emitter and i want to emit particles from it. the only "laggy/lame" work around it was via xp trail .. is that possible at all. many thanks.

Amazing collider but... for some reason it does not collide with the floor... at first it does and eventually all particles are falling through.

Hi, the issue you describe is usually solved by changing the scene scale and/or increasing substeps. However, it's difficult to say without looking at your scene file.
