Thanks for this. I’m a new parent. My parents come from Punjab and I myself grew up in America and I have become Americanized but I want my son to be of more connected to our Punjabi culture and to be connected to the Sikh faith

This is so true..If true sikhi was instilled in us from the day we took our first breath, we'd have been set up for life and fought every battle, mental, emotional, physical like our Gurus..I am teaching myself now with Guru Ji's kirpa..luckily the seed was planted at a very early age to jap part, japji sahib..today I'm learning the true meaning behind it..never too late to learn..Sikh... 🙏

It's not about spending 'time' with kids..it's about being 'present' at every moment you are with the kids. Kids want attention ... not time or 'doing' things
