corned beef is NOT Irish. it is Irish American. If you screwed this up, well what else did you mess up?

Relax people think spaghetti and meatballs is Italian. Not Italian American but I’ve never verbally caned someone over it.

So basically both Corned Beef and Cabbage, and Spaghetti and Meatballs were both created by Immigrants to America from the country where many Americans today think it comes from. Because to Irish Americans and Italian Americans it is very much part of their culture. So it's actually understandable why many other people in America having seen these cultural groups in their America East these food would come to believe they come from their country of origin. So while they don't and yes it's useful to know which dishes do actually come from the original country. Maybe trying to understand first means everybody learns and there's less blaming and shaming for no reason.

@@Loulizabeth There is no blaming or shaming here. Accuracy is important if you are publishing something. If you can't provide accurate content then expect to be called out - that is not shaming.

@@seanreidy1420 I would agree with you response if your initial comment had ended with "it is Irish American". However the second part of your comment "If you screwed this up, what else did you mess up?" was entirely unnecessarily and negative and shaming. It has nothing to do with the video itself and simply attacks the creator of the video. I say this as someone who has been on the end of such talk, and I'm not a gen Z or a millennial. I'm from generation X and now in my 50's.
