Top Truck 2024 ARRMA Fury 223s BLX

A friend of mine picked up this exact truck, and it's awesome. We topped off all the shock oil with TLR 40 wt. and swapped the small shock collars for mediums, made a big difference in damping. Then we raised the suspension arms to the next higher notch at the knuckles on all four corners; also cleaned the grease out of the diff and filled with 20k TLR diff oil.

Arrma has been on fire this year. Loved all the Groms and the 3S refresh line also kicked ass. Giving the Fury the BLX treatment was a dynamite release as well. I recently picked up a Micro-B and I forgot how much I love the easy maintenance of 2WD. Most of my rigs are 4WD and all that extra work really adds up over time, perhaps a $230 Fury would go a long way to enjoy the hobby more and not worry about rebuilding 3 diffs lol. Plus SCTs are virtually indestructible, which is nice.

Arrma is really killing it this year like you said. I recently got my uncle into the hobby and he wanted me to pick out a truck for him. We ended up getting him the Arrma Senton BLX 4x4 and he loves it. I was very impressed on the handling and the truck on 3S is faster than my Mojave 4S! Another thing that is really nice is Arrma finally started using metal pivot balls! I cannot stand the plastic ones they used to use lol

I used some stick on roll roofing material to put a " grip tape " path up the center of my ramp it worked really well. Lots of grip now. 👍

I was going to suggest something similar. Have you noticed the product you used causing any noticeable damage on the under chassis from scraping?

3s and gyro on 2wd is a ton of fun. Especially when paddle tires are involved

You can buy what's basically sand that goes on paint to use on steps and wheelchair ramps and paint the plastic with it. It'll turn out into grip tape like on a skateboard. No more traction issues.

Yeah they sell the fine grit sand or just run some sand through a strainer is what I always do. I’ve done this for people so many times over the years . Holds up as long as the deck stain does . Sherwin Williams stuff has been good for me but Benjamin Moore has the best coatings imho . They cost more too 😂

My only 2wd is the dr10 drag car with the bigger wheels in the back.the fury definitely gets to cover more ground 💯🏆🏁

I have gorgon my son said why don’t leave something un breakable and leave eat designed . Tbh on my track or any slower is faster and these things are impressive, arrma engineering very smart tttT

I got one of these and threw the electrics straight in the bin radio and all I put a better servo and a hw x run into it with a nb4 receiver and radio I run it on 3s I have had lots of fun with it,I didn't even run it straight out the box before I swapped everything over

Arrma did so much wrong on this truck for my style it’s not even funny, too short battery tray, no space in chassis, clipless, 3in 1 brushless Esc, stupid tire pattern, 14mm hex, but hey looks nice, just needs to get a slightly bigger chassis and a real Esc with a separate receiver and a Programm card
