It’s been that way for as long as I can remember and even longer. The justice system has always been biased to some extent. This goes back to before the existence of the United States. However, if a judge goes too far, there can be consequences. 50 years ago, I was involved in a case in which the judge went too far and he ended up getting removed from the bench.
